DEA agents apologize for forgetting college student in cell for four days

The Drug Enforcement Administration extended an apology to a University of California engineering student who was locked in a holding cell for more than four days and forgotten about. The student drank his own urine in desperation and attempted to kill himself, before agents returned four days later and found him,

Yea right, they know they did that shit on purpose.🙄

😬 Not really. But it is an organization that I wish to dissolve.

I guess the kid won't be as inclined to break the law, now.

he wasn't charged with anything

LoL, piss-drinker. But suicide after four days? Come on. That's even too emo for emos.

"Chong also told agents he ate a packet of white powder he found in his cell, which turned out to be meth."

They could charge him for that, I guess.

LOL

technically, courts have found that substances in your stomach are not considered in your "possession" legally (people would be committing a crime if someone spiked their drink).

There would have been a brief period between finding and eating where they could have charged him

also... WTF did he think it was?

Powdered sugar?

When you say "they" and "on purpose" are you implying that someone high up in the DEA ordered this?

Re: Re: DEA agents apologize for forgetting college student in cell for four days

Makes sense, the DEA actively looks to tarnish their reputation and they love lawsuits that will likely be in the millions.

When you **** the law, the biggest man with the biggest gun that also ****s the law can **** you.

Or the law can put you in a cell for four days and not charge you.

Guys, come on, you are missing the point.

They said they were sorry.

There's nothing more that can be expected of them.

They should have at least had the decency to water board him.
