Almost knocking himself out hitting Cap, losing to Hulk, powering up Iron Man with an attack meant to take him out, having trouble with Loki, getting stabbed by Loki, not doing anything when Hulk punched him away, etc.
Taking a backseat to a character who's never been an important part in the Avengers (Black Widow). I'm surprised Maria Hill didn't outshine him too... the only character who didn't.Generous.
You can spin your lies and spread your untruths all you want, the one true God Thor will show what's what in the second movie when he turns Thanos into his own personal spit shiner.

Thor? Don't make me laugh.
Thor will be in the background losing to mini Thanos at the time. Maybe a jet will save his life again

You know, you should look to the stars for your new savior.
his track record against the green one is much more auspicious.

Thor gave the Hulk and the other token heroes their chance in the spot light.
The sequel will be all about Thor raping everything in a fight, including Thanos. Specifically Thanos' poopshute. Hulk will die from the shock waves of the thrusting.

The only reason Thor got as much screentime as he did is because the bad guy was his brother. You better hope Loki comes back in the second one.

silver surfer is the most powerful hero in marvel's cinema universe.assuming F4 even takes place in the same universe as the avengers and stuff.
To properly analyse the power levels in the Avengers, i think we have to take our minds out of the battle boards
In a pure fist fight, i would say that movie Hulk is stronger than movie Thor but not by much (Thor blocking Hulk's fist with one hand was very impressive and draw audible gasps in my theater).
Hulk was clearly meant to be the strongest and this evidenced by Hulk's one shot of the Leviathan thing (which was ****ing awesome).
However, in terms of display of overall power, Thor destroying about 2 or 3 Leviathans and other ships was the greatest (although there wasn't much build up to it so it didn't really blow minds).
All in all, going by their individual movies plus the Avengers, i would say Thor is move powerful but Hulk is stronger (isn't that always the case?)

Captain America and Iron Man aren't comparable to Hulk and Black Widow or whatever token heroes you like.
Without having to fight his brother, no sentimental emotions will hold him back. Yea, whoever the villain is in the sequel, they're fuuuuuuucked.

Thor wouldn't even notice the board and would just head butt Surfer back into space.
It looks like Bendis is probably going to get his hands on Thanos:

If true...well: Hahahaha, suck it. At least one thing -at minimum- that you love about the character will be ruined.
fu
Thor via getting less screentime than minor and major characters.
Thor will be lucky to get 10 minutes where he doesn't look like shit in the sequel
Whatever Bendis does, it can't be worse than him making Thor lose to a character who lost to basic electricity
Although everything will be raped, it can't be worse than Thor...
