I'm not ignoring anything, I think you all are adding to something that isn't true. I also believe if Thor had the power to knock Loki the hell out to prevent the entire war, he would have done it. He didn't do it because "he couldn't". What has Thor ripped apart that is more durable than Ironmans armor?

Why did Thor use so much lethal force against Captain America? A freaking peak Human but held back against a 12 ft, 1000 pound Green, super strong monster? Great logic for the win.

Thor doesn't know how to hold back...Thor is a fighter. When you all accept this, the thread can then be close due to a Hulk stomp.

That depends on what you think he's going to do. I'm not arguing that Thor was going to summon a huge lightning barrage or anything. But it was sufficient time to press his advantage much more efficiently than a knee to the face. I guess being on the Hellicarrier does limit his options, but he shouldn't be willingly closing the distance and if he does, not letting up with Mjolnir is important.

Stop strawmanning. I never said or implied anything of the sort. You know exactly what I mean, I don't have much tolerance for you.

Every once in a while stuff like this is fun and amusing, but you do it so often Carver that whenever you start up, I'm already less patient.

I don't know if Thor was pulling his punches but he obviously wasn't giving his best either. Simply charging Mjolnir causes a much more devastating blow.

Thor was trying to stop Loki but he was definitely holding back to some extent. He did the same in his own movie. The pattern so far is that they go back and forth while Thor tries to reason with him, Loki stabs Thor, and then promptly gets owned.

Can't comment on the rest since I'm not ZF.

Him talking to Loki during a fight doesn't mean he isn't trying to stop him. He came there to stop Loki, not cradle him.

Funny, because when Thor has had enough of Loki's bullshit, he promptly owned him, both in his solo movie and in the Avengers. Loki knew this to be true as well, which is why he got nervous when the sudden storm appeared because he knew "what comes after the thunder".

He didn't know who Captain America was and was obviously pissed off at that point. He sure as shit didn't crash down upon Hulk's face with that kind of power in the movie.
