Destiny: Bane of Video Games >D The game is fun. The shooting mechanics extremely solid, perhaps the best of 2014's,
This is important. To the first part, I do not think it is very fun. I grew tired of the repetitiveness quite quickly. However, it is extremely (fundamentally) important that you find it fun. To the people/players that think they can dictate to you that you should not find the game fun, they can go f*ck themselves with a large cactus.
But as for the shooting mechanics, I'm beginning to disagree that it is amazing. I overlooked some things, before, simply because of my bias towards favoring Bungie's history with FPS (Halo). I will write that up, later.

and the RNG is extremely addictive as annoying and frustrating as it is(God Damn you Vex Mythoclast).
Holy shit, I could not disagree more. I actually stopped playing the game for about 4 weeks because that system was so shitty and disappointing. I picked it up and started playing it again recently because my son loves playing it (and he's begging me to get another XBox One so I can play in a Fireteam with him, at all times).

Bungie has patched a lot of things and they are working hard on improving things for the players. The game is already much better than it was on release.
This I both disagree and agree with. I agree that Bungie is making an effort to fix many of their f*ck-ups and this is why I will definitely give them a second chance with Destiny 2 (but ONLY after waiting 4 weeks for it to be out to make sure it is better than this one). But here is where I disagree with you: to cope with the SHITTY F*CKING loot system that I hate and loathe with a passion, players were farming spawn caves. This is normal behavior for MMOs. WHAT DOES BUNGIE DO? THE F*CKING PATCH THE LOOT CAVES!!!! Why would they do this? What is the point of making the game even more frustrating and going the opposite direction of one of the players' BIGGEST gripes? If they had substituted spawn-camping with amazing loot boss-kill drops, then I would be happy with the change. You know what? I would have even purchased the expansion to show my appreciation towards Bungie for improving a massive problem with the game (even though they took away one of the ways the players were trying to cope with this issue). The best case scenario, of course, is leaving the spawn areas AND adding guaranteed boss-kill drops.

The 3 upcoming DLCs and bigger expansion gives me hope for Destiny's future. I honestly believe Bungie is still learning and testing the game.
Dude, you and me both. But I won't be purchasing any expansions until they fix the loot system.

Anyways I didn't really bother reading all of the points you people made, so excuse me for that.
Read them. uhuh

I didn't watch the video because I never played the first Borderlands and only had over 4 hours played on the 2nd one. Perhaps that is why I'm cool with Destiny.
Borderlands 2 is better in almost every single way that Destiny fails. However, some people hate the cell-shading art direction they took with it and refuse to play it because of that (seriously). Personally, I think they should abandon it and go with a look similar to Destiny but the "brand" that they use for Borderlands is already set in stone so it will never change.
By the way, in some of the ways that Borderlands' loot system sucks massive balls, so does the loot system in Destiny: the RNG bullshit. I'm the type that prefers loot systems that run more on merit rather than a dice roll. Meaning, for a particular mission, you are guaranteed particular loot (even if that awesome loot gets an RNG dice roll between, say, 5 different legendary pieces of equipment). What I would love to see a game franchise like Destiny or Borderlands do is add an adaptive dice roll system that incorporates my idea but also eliminates pieces of equipment in the next dice roll. Meaning, the first time you do a mission, you have 20% chance of getting the legendary piece of equipment you want. You don't get it the first time. So you do the mission again but this time, the equipment you got is no longer "lootable" (unless you recycled it, sold it, or gave it to another player...f*cking Destiny) so you now have a 25% chance of getting the item you want by killing the boss. This is something that both Destiny and Borderlands needs to do to dial down the frustration and time wasting factor. It is an artificial inflation of game play. Any time that happens, I immediately get turned off to a game.
