People, don't say I didn't give you notice.

My bad, I started at the beginning of the bump and just started commenting on posts as I worked my way back. Then I saw this.

He won in a landslide. You were not even an option. 😂

Lol...by a landslide.

Carver, didn't you say DS does better against heralds than Thanos... do you stand by that?

I think DS does better than Thanos against heralds.

You don't say... explain that please... We've seen DS straight up beaten by Superman on a few occasions. Granted he's the poster boy for DC... yet Surfer, Thor and Hulk are poster boys for Marvel, and yet, they haven't beaten Thanos in a straight up fight no powerups involved. Shit, Hulk has been really built up by marvel lately showing power he's never shown previous. Yet just recently, Thanos mind controlled him with utter ease and turned him on the Avengers. No long drawn out fight, no nothing, just Thanos owning him with a gesture. We see Thor fire blasts at Thanos and Thanos literally smile and ask for more. I'm curious which heralds have beaten Thanos in a straight up fight no powerups?

Well, there's Darkseid being completely unaffected by Mantis+Hal Jordan's energies.

Had a debate against someone on that topic and they made solid arguments. My opinion on that matter has changed. So Thanos wins, for now. Now stop trying to debate against me.

😉

You'll end up bad if you ever try again!!!

Ok? Was that supposed to be super impressive? Thanos has taken blasts from a pissed off surfer to no affect. Same with Thor. Again though, DS has lost to heralds more than Thanos which is the issue we're discussing.

Hal alone is a good match for surfer in energy blasts. Lobo also broke his hand punching Darkseid. Darkseid koed Orion with a wave of his hands. So?

Actually it was pretty impressive as he tanked it like nothing. He also has taken Lobos punches with no effect, beaten orion pretty easily, killed agog without effort, toyed with Black Mary, defeated the Greek pantheon, with a wave of his hand beat Orion, Mister Miracle & Firestorm, easily beat eclipso, etc, etc. So no he doesn't have a bad track record against heralds

Superman is the only Herald who has given him trouble in physical battles. Outside that, he has casually imprisoned both Superman and Infinity Man at the same time.

And Superman would trouble anybody in a physical battle. It's what he does.

AND? Thanos has mocked Thor's blasts.. Surfer's blasts... laughed at Hulk's and Thing's strength combined when he overpowered them both. Thanos took some of Odin's initial blasts without moving at all. Orion has also gotten the better of DS... Again though, I'm not claiming DS isn't above heralds or that he hasn't laughed off herald level attacks or higher. The question at hand was... who's done better against heralds.. thanos or DS.. to me the obvious answer is Thanos with his track record and all.

Agreed, I don't think he's bad against heralds. I'm simply saying he's lost to them more than Thanos.

I agree, Superman is no walk in the park if it goes physical.

It is super-impressive.

But I suppose it wouldn't really fall into the herald category, since it's basically the full power of two heralds combined.

I'm good with Thanos' feats. Saw those a few years before you showed up on KMC 🙂

Only the Thor feat I referenced happened less than a year ago... so that happened long after you or I joined 🙂

Point is, if you knew all the feats of both against heralds... you'd know Thanos doesn't have the losses DS does.

It's been a long time since Darkseid has fought any heralds. Fortunately Thanos fanboys don't get to decide which feats do and do not count.

Thanos has losses.

They're just against Drax and the NYPD.
