I am highly disappointed they chose to go this route instead of giving us another Mk game. The mk vs dc game was awful.

Do you think you would enjoy a Marvel fighting game made by them?

I also wanted another MK game but i am stoked for this

It has nothing to do with dc it has to do with the first game they did with dc. I love mk and they ruined the game due to dc characters. I liked the Batman trilogy and that's dc. I loved sinestro corps and that was dc. I am objective.

I do but that's besides the point. What does reading dc have to do with a video fighting game with dc characters ?

no, you aren't. let's not pretend, quan. if you were objective, you'd see that dc vs mk wasn't as terrible as you make it out to be. A disappointment? Sure, but the engine they use, and hell, some of the moves, were carried over in to MK9.

It abandoned all the gore which makes an Mk game an Mk game. That's essentially along with the creative story and interesting characters which attracts the core of the Mk fans in the first place. They took one element out and the game suffered. We will see if the game flops or not.

Yeah the lack of gore did hurt that game but this is not an MK game so that shouldn't be a huge issue this time

This is true, and there were also actually some techniques from MKvsDC which weren't ported to MK9 that I felt should've been, like Subzero's and Shang Tsung's teleport moves for instance.

mmm Guess that would've made him broken, being the great zoning type fighter he already was in the game. Would've liked to have his slide move from MKvsDC in MK9 then as an alternative.

That's my point. The last time the game with a lot of the same dc characters were involved in the same engine it massively failed. Why they tried again is silly.

Quan Chi will always break Shang Tsung with or without any special moves.

We were talking about gameplay, and Shang is a higher tier character than Quan in MK9 far as that goes.

And this game's not the same thing as MKvsDC, nor will it likely fail as that game did. With maybe the exception of you, there hasn't really been any backlash here towards this game like there was for MKvsDC before release.
