I've been playing the demo. It's not what I thought it would be. There aren't many combos, and the fighting system isn't 1/4 as in depth as a game like Tekken. It's mostly 1-2 combos with a few 1-2-3 combos like in Mortal Kombat. The specials are pretty easy to pull off too. I feel like anyone could master a character after an hour of playing with them, which isn't what I was hoping. It would take me a month+ to master a new character in tekken. I was able to jump into the demo at hard difficulty (the AI was ruthless on very hard difficulty which I tried). Doomsday and Lex are monsters on harder difficulties. Batman has a few more 1-2-3 combos than Wonder Woman, but I like her special more. She can switch to a sword and sheild stance from her lasso stance, thats a bit more defensive if you're getting your butt handed to you. She did seem a bit harder to use in this demo than Batman though. He's a bit more noob friendly. Lex was just a straight up ***** to use, but he's something else when you're fighting him. He can just tank your attacks like no other and dish it out.
Doomsday was a monster. He just beat my butt. I like the demo, but I was hoping for more.
@ Arachnid: Sounds like you're just scratching the surface of the game. Like with MK9, there seems to be plenty more advanced combos you can pull off beyond the basic shit shown in the moves list. Kinda fun discovering or trying to discover what they all are.
And a month+ was how long it took me to master certain characters like Shang in MK9, so I really doubt anyone could master just any character within an hour of this game. Of course some will take more skill than others to get good with, which seems to be the case with Lex, and I figured Batman would be a bit noob friendly since he was kinda established earlier to be the Scorpion of the game...
Just wish the game was a little easier on the eyes, like having bigger text in the moves list and stuff, but I guess that's a minor gripe.
Played the demo, only got to play as lex but I'm loving it. Lex's satillite spirit bomb super just looks so much cooler when I'm the one doing it. Doomsday gave me one hell of a fight but thanks to be getting my super off right after his mine canceled his out and gave him enough damage to give me the advantage.. Intense it was, now I really can't Wait for this game.
The fact I beat doomsday with a dumpster makes me even happier and reminds me of a table top game called heroclixs I play.. I usually kill things like doomsday or Galactus with dumpsters.
Kinda hoping they have a justice lords skin pack. From the old justice league show.
I can't be the only one to think that would be cool 😄
Goes with the 'tyrant' superman theme anyhow.

Why is there no online multiplayer available on the demo? I would like it a lot better to face other players than AI.
Yeah, at least it has local multiplayer, but what the demo should've had (more than online) was something in the options menu that tells you the control scheme/layout. At least, I couldn't find it and couldn't figure out how to like block because of it.
Then again, I've only played a few brief matches so far and then got hooked back on watching Batman Beyond on Netflix all day, but I'll figure that and other stuff in the demo out later.
