So I just played a medium run through of Batman, and I have to say I'm liking it already. The fighting system feels very like Mortal Kombat, and encourages you to string combos together in very freeform ways. For instance, I would kick my enemy in to the chopper, and then before they landed I could do a brief juggle. I thought there were no throws, but Batman has at least one (down, away and x (a on xbox)). But yeah, so far very happy with it, and looking forward to the game.
I also audibly shouted "**** you Batman" when I knocked him in to a transition.
Okay so I played as all three characters, and I have to say I'm really impressed. The characters don't feel like copies of one another, just with different moves. They actually feel different. Lex feels heavy, as he should. Batman feels quick and light. Diana is in the middle, and I really had a lot of fun playing as her.
More than I thought I would. I prefer her lasso set to her sword and shield, personally.

I can trash anyone with Batman though. Dude is unstoppable.
I have been playing it a lot lol What I love so far is
2 bars apposed to 2 rounds
The ability to put your combos on screen
the availability to use your environment....feels like a comic book and yet not cartoonish. Perfect balance lol
The attention they paid to each character and their individual traits.
I love that instead of having batman pick up and throw the bat signal you can do a flip off it and attach a batbomb to it.
I REALLY love that it seems like when you learn a character...thats the character you learn as apposed to MK 9(don't get me wrong I like that game) that some button combos were universal.
And I thought they handled the "specials" really well. They kept it the style of the X-Ray moves to avoid Fatality's.

Doomsday is tough in general, I thought. Especially when he activates his boost. He becomes much harder to hurt, but I managed to use a few of my favourite moves (and a transition) to get rid of him.

Yeah, agreed.
