I watched the walkthrough on youtube....tbh it seems pretty weaksauce story is meh lenght is about 1 hour the new moves dont seem too satisfying....

Reading a review on it now and they say it reminds you of how good the first Lords of Shadow was.

Puzzles seem cool though....

So what's it like?

It's good.

Story wise, it leaves a lot to be desired, but the gameplay is indeed reminiscent of LoS1. No puzzle-stealth sections. Alucard's magic system is more like Gabriel's Light Magic/Shadow Magic system (1 weapon that gets modified, instead of 3 separate weapons), so that helps as well.

My one gripe with the gameplay is that Alucard's abilities (Spectral Wolf, Timeless Vision, and Bat Form) are not viable options in combat. Only Spectral Wolf is actually of any use, in that you can use it to bait enemies.
That, and Alucard is not a playable character in the challenges.

And that final boss battle is one of the best boss battles in the Lords of Shadow series

I'm currently getting through the finishing off the first one and i'm up to the Resurrection DLC.....**** The Forgotten One is a pain.

I just finished the main Drac and then the Alucard dlc. Not as good as the first but the story was pretty decent. The boss fights left a lot to be desired imo compared to the first one.

Gabriel Belmont would totally hand Kratos his ass as I predicted. Come at me, nemetwink.

This game is the shit. I love it.
