Are you joking, what do you do when you have a threat much more powerful than yourself and you cannot beat it straight up, you imploy tactics, those being having hulk distract thanos....if you seriously think that hulk only lost because he was "holding back" you are a biased fanboy. If hulk could have taken them out he would have but he could not so he played the role as a distraction(which he was not even good at because he got thrown away like a b*tch)
