Hulk doesn't have a great powerset for saving people in a burning building but its pretty good for winning fights. And Hulk has arguably suffered about as much over the years from having his dynamic powerset ignored in fights with other heroes as his opponents may have from having writers downplay their other powers.

Ah not exactly. The core of the debate was the level of strength gap between Wbh and other hulk versions I.e wwh. It did segway into a lot of other issues though but addressing them was necessary in order to settle the core issue at hand..
