Kaz has good syntax. "Like the Yoda of KMC he is. Hm?"

Not sure about that..But thanks for the praise.

Just back from this...Average fare...Not particularly impressive visuals...Not a great plot...very poor baddie...anti-climatic ending...

Most things seem to be the opposite with you.

Hearing alot of positive reviews for this.

Good news.

Yeah, i might try to see it today.. i hope.

Next month for me

since that's the release date that's been chosen for Australia.

I saw it last night.

Simply put - honour has been restored to Judge Dredd.

It's an honest, grimly satisfying thriller; it's style evokes early John Carpenter in it's relentlessness. It exists to satisfy it's hardcore faithful fans, and as a rebuke (OK, as a kick in the jewels) against everything wrong with the Stallone version.

Hope it makes alot of money at the Box office's around the world for the sequels, Would like to see the Dark Judges in a movie.

My big question is (cuz I'm a little short on dough for the moment): Is it worth seeing on the big screen in 3D? I kind of suspected all that slow motion stuff would look really good in 3D... so is it worth the $15 to see it in 3D or would waiting for blu-ray be sufficient?

It was actually lensed in 3D. People should go to the theatre, to demonstrate Dredd has an audience.

Aye, I just got back a few hours.

I was one of seven people in the theater. Seven, people. At 8pm on a Saturday night.

A real shame- my opinion of the movie is mixed, but I would be interested in seeing a sequel at least. It sucks that the Katy Perry movie probably got a bigger audience.

Fair enough. I'll try to get out and see it in the coming week or two, cuz it apparently isn't going to last long...
