You can probably thank those good old-time Christian values. We don't mind violence as long as it's in the middle east and it's spreading "Freedom." 😉

**** HELL NO to that you progressive liberal Emo freak.

Back in the good old days. We had hard core violance in our movies all the time. As in the 80's. Violance Blood and Sex Galore.

Its you lefties that have PUSSIFIED shit up.

Truth on dat!

Yeah I miss the VHS era of going to the videoshop and tonnes of films to chose from.

The exploitation era peaked at that stage before the ban hammer got dropped.

I miss the old Curtained off/Seperate Back Room at the Video stores for the Porn stuff.

and the juvenile age attepmts to sneak into them.

Saw it and loved it, theatre was half full

Sadly I'm probably just gonna have to wait to see this. Probably won't get to see it in 3D 🙁 I do look forward to seeing it, though..

I saw it last thursday at the only matinee showing. Had the theater all to myself.

Uuuuuuuuh it's a shame it's not doing that well in the boxoffice. Im sure it will make it's money on DVD sales.

^ that bad?

Did you guys see it in 3D, I just saw the regular one?

Wasted money on RE 3D, like a chump...

Star Trek got good marketing.

Yeah, but I meant movies with him starring as the main character. Of course, Pathfinder was utter garbage, yet it was marketed as though it wasn;'t.

Maybe he's not as well known yet compared to other actors

that might be the problem.

He's not.

Most people have seen movies he's in and probably recognize him, but he doesn't have "star power". He's usually is a supporting actor.

Whelp, this film is officially ****ed, so far as sequels go.

50 mil in North America alone required for a sequel- thus far it's only garnered 10 mil, in two weeks.

Very disappointing. Meanwhile, Transformers 4 is under development. 🙁

As of 2 October 2012, the film has earned $11,548,247 from international markets and $10,100,000 from North America,

a worldwide total of $21,648,247

still got the Australia release and other countries.

I watched Dredd 3D (2012) movie such a good action movie. Dredd 3D movie released on 21 sep 2012 and main cast of this movie are Olivia Thirlby, Karl Urban and Lena Headey.

I thought it was pretty good actual.
Sure it aint gonna win any oscars or emmys but it s a damn good popcorn movie. Just 90 min of Bad Ass Violence.

I blame Horrible Marketing for its low showings. They should have done something to point out that is isn't the Stallone's Judge Dredd. That and it should have been given at least an August Release. I don't really recall anything in that month that would have given it any real trouble.

But I can see this movie getting a cult following.
It could be said IMO that it could be the "Escape from New York" for this era

Saw this for cheap in 2D. It rocked. It did seem like a bit of a tease, though. I really wanted more. Seems like it needed a bigger climax.

And as far as sequels, it's a massive shame it's flopping financially. 🙁

I also really wish I had seen it in 3D. Would have f#ckin' rocked in 3D. shock

I really liked the soundtrack. Thought it fit very well. I'm sure I'll get the blu-ray when it comes out.

Its opening here this week, Where i live haven't seen one ad on the tv for it from the local cinema...all i've seen for ads is for Argo.

See that sucks... the film may have doomed itself from the start because it is SOOO extremely violent. Maybe that's why it has struggled to get advertising??
