I don't even see Thanos being powerful enough to beat Superman and Orion combined for a majority, let alone adding a couple of power ring wielders.

Well I'll tell YOU bud, even though I'm sure Grandpa Quan will throw a hissy fit.
I don't have a hard-on for Thanos, so I simply don't see him as 25 times typical Top-Tiers in strength. Superman has shown to be stronger than multiple Top-Tiers combined on more than one occasion, and Orion's come the closest I've seen to matching Superman out of heroes(even closer than Captain Marvel, Superman's alleged equal). Orion's equipment should make them more versatile than Thanos, and far as I can tell, both have a speed advantage(even if it won't come into play every single fight). So that's just with Superman and Orion together.
Throw in a couple of high-end energy manipulators and I don't see Thanos winning too many.
