You know, I'd have thought by now that Marvel would have noticed that Ghost Rider books without Johnny or Danny don't sell very well.
I mean, the Way/Aaron series ran for a good few years with Johnny in the lead role, whereas the last attempt at an 'EXCITING NEW GHOST RIDER CHARACTER' lasted for less than a year.
Plus after the last series ended with him (once again) deciding that the Ghost Rider is his burden, I wonder how they'll have him lose the SoV this time?

It's really about taking the map and blowing it up, just scaling everything upwards and exploring what the presence of these powers, these gods, these inventions would have on our geography. What it would mean in terms of hegemony, and borders, and international relations. The Avengers have gone out and spoken for the world; now the world is going to answer back.

I absolutely love Rucka's entire run on Punisher and have read it a few times over now, but I never noticed that grin and the tech on his arm until you pointed it out and I reread it.
But yeah, fair enough man, but I'd still like a bit more of his escape, because it was a pretty hardcore prison as far as these things go.
