it's a typo, get over it.

That shows the quality of guy you might be... Anyhow

It works like a charm, doesn't it? You just have to respond to it.

by that logic supes and everyone else on krypton should have powers as well. the color of the sun has to do with how hot it is, not with radiation wavelength.

I'm going to quote you in here:

The radiation from a red sun is no different from the radiation of a yellow sun. One is just hotter than the other.

I think you are not the sharpest tool in the shed. But let me grab your hand and guide you trough it.

Some stars are hotter than other stars (are you still following me?) depending on how hot they are, they will emit a radiation wavelength that it will be shown on the color of the star. (still with me?)

I encourage you to put a silver metal spoon on you microwave and see how it changes color, it will change color based on the radiation wavelength.

Kryptonians feed on the radiation wavelength of every star, the radiation wavelength of a red star is not enough to trigger his powers, the radiation wavelength that Blue, White and Yellow stars emit will do the work.

In other words, wrong again.

you're babbling here and totally missing the point. so it's moot to address. go read up on solar energy so you can understand why it's not widely used.

Not widely used??? just by every single living being on the planet and you are the one who missed the point, you are crying and moaning that his source of energy is dumb, when you have "the force" on what it seems to be fictional universe you like That my friend is called hypocrisy.

How did Anakin Skywalker was conceived? Oh yes. That is completely more credible than getting power from a star. 🙄

my point is i felt that DC should have used the new 52 to update:
1. the source of supes powers
2. a better reason for kryptonians not being able to escape their pending doom
3. a better disguise

Ok cool, I understand your point, you don't like it.
Yes there are things I don't like as well, not from this particular topic, but there are things I don't like.

Can you just get over it and move on? or at least make sure to direct you anger to the right source. That will be that way ==============>

who says i don't read superman? it really pains you to hear criticism. fanboyism is strong with you.

Well, you might have read a few issues, but If you were versed on the topic of Superman, I will not have to explain all this things to you, yet you come here and act like you know a lot about Superman... Which of course We know, you don't, but still, you try to disguise your ignorance. Is OK dude. You don't need to know everything. Hell even I don't know every single detail about Superman or Star Wars and I like both, but I rather read what a more versed person has to say on the topic of Star Wars than an idiot who barely knows anything about it.

make sure you give it to them in english.

Will do. Actually I will use the same English I have been using with you, because apparently you did understand very well.

Also as a side note and like others have already pointed it out in here before.

The level of confidence in which you will move in your environment will attract more or less attention to yourself.
The more confident you are the more people will tend to look at you, if you have less confidence, then people will not look at you that much, accentuate you low confidence body language with a bad sense of style and you have a person that nobody looks at. I'm sure you have experienced this on the first hand.

Ok guys, let's tone it down a notch before things get out of hand.

Not really 😛

So how many of you like that he's with Diana at this point? He'll obviously end up with Lois, but in the meantime: Like it? Don't like it?

Happy. I actually think Lois, Jimmy, Perry and the Daily Planet should disappear from his comics jawdrop

TBH, I wouldn't mind a period like that. They can show him still being Clark in plenty of other ways too.

Yeah, me personally? I've disliked Lois for a while now, and I always wanted to see him with Diana. The problem with it, though, is that most writers would have a lot of trouble making something like that interesting. Or they just don't know how.

I think Johns has done a solid job so far; I just wish Diana would guest-star more in his books, and him in hers. Not at the expense of the story, but just to show that they, as a couple, even have a routine.

Like opening a comic in the Fortress with him leaving her in bed to go save a train that's derailing, or she has to go back home to Themyscira. Relationships in comics always work better when you can give us a glimpse of their daily lives. Scott and Emma, Ollie and Dina, Wally and Linda etc.

Agreed.

You know I was reading their 2nd encounter a couple of weeks ago on the Pre-Flashpoint universe.

And Superman just went in for the kiss, out of the blue, he just kissed her. He didn't ask, He just went "I like this, is mine, give it to me, I'm not asking, I'm taking"

It was actually pretty funny.

And you might think WW being an amazon will fight a little bit, but no, she just let her natural instinct to take over and reciprocate the kiss.

That bastard!!!

But yes, It will be interesting, as long as they don't make those orgies that they make in Marvel comics, everything is fine.

lol nah. Just felt like a change.

Also gonna get a start on that respect thread soon, I think.

I think it just seems too...obvious. Superman, the perfect man, hooking up with Wonder Woman, the perfect woman. I think we've seen it play out in plenty of Elseworlds (not to say we don't know what to expect from Lois/Clark). I think they two of them work better as close friends, perhaps friends with some unresolved romantic issues, but friends instead of lovers. And no, I don't think Wonder Woman and Batman is a better pairing, either.

I'd like it if the Superman titles further hit on their relationship, but it seems like Johns' is the main architect and if/when it dissolves, it will likely be in the Justice League title.

Pr's one of the more credible non-fanatic Superman supporters out there, so I fully support him assuming control of the faction.

I think the problem would be if a writer treats them as perfect in the book. Johns (very smartly imo) chose to make their coming together due to a shared isolation, and a need for comfort/companionship.

Their relationship should be like any human one, warts and all imo.

Carver level or Quanchi level?

I can agree with that. I will say that I do like Lois as a character, especially when she's useful and contributes to the story and has her b1tch-mode reigned in. For example, I actually liked Lois in the World of New Krypton arc (even though the arc itself was meh and ended in a horrid fashion).

As far as Diana goes, I think their relationship can work for a time, but it just doesn't seem as something that could last indefinitely. Especially not without some extensive development on both their ends.

I agree to a lot of things he says.

But then again so did the Germans with the Nazis.

I think PR is a tyrant in the making 😄

You have to admit Pr's one of the least biased guys on the forum, mod or no. He knows his Superman stuff without going on random butt hurt tangents or getting pissy because someone thinks Superman could possibly lose in a fight. Nor does he play the "KMC hates Superman" card.

He's the hero you deserve.

Oh, definitely. I think that if Johns wants to make this last, then he's going to have to make sure that they seem like they're growing together.

And to rein in people like Diggle, who have Clark damn-near flirting with Lois in issues. It's only going to work if ALL of the Superman writers get on board.

Yes, he is very unbiased and very patient too.

Who are the current "leader" of each faction?

I've only just been back for a week or so, so I don't know the current status quos.

Rest assured, I will assume direct control of the Thor Corps.
