The Avengers vs. The Cullens

It's like you can't read

Movies and books are different canons. In this board, it's movies only, so it's either movie only feats or GTFO

So basically, you have no movie feats?

Bella jumps gracefully from a several thousand foot high cliff face after scaling it (she rips her fingers through the granite)
She leaps well over a hundred yards over a waterfall
They both run through the woods at what looks like around a hundred miles an hour( and Bella sees EVERYTHING with her uncanny senses and reflexes)
Bella smashes a granite boulder
She lightly punches Jacob and sends him several yards back.
When Seth (the wolf) tries to stop her, she throws him into a tree
Alice kicks aro very, very high in the air, but he is unharmed
Carlisle shoves a vampire out of the way and he goes flying (before he jumps in the air and is met by aro, who rips his head off.)
Aro shoves Bella a huge distance into Edward, and the two have serious trouble killing him (which is stupid, because Aro is no stronger or more indestructible than another vampire his size)

In new moon, Laurent smacks his hand into an enormous wolf (Sam) so hard that he is sent flying back to where Bella is at least 50 yards..
**Edward reveals to Bella he can't be killed by anything other than a vampire, which is why he goes to the volturi to die**
Victoria is launched a huge distance in the air, away from the people, by Jacob, and she is completely unharmed and still scary as hell
Edward sends Jacob pretty far back with a flick of his arm.

In breaking dawn 1
When the Cullen's fight the wolves, they show impressive feats of strength, occasionally sending one soaring into a tree or the dirt.

Here's one they got right : in twilight, vampires can only play baseball in a thunderstorm because they hit the ball so hard, it's as loud as thunder.

But other than that, it really doesn't emphasize their strength as well as it does in the books :/

I've got some book feats for Hulk. Ready? He punched a meteor twice the size of Earth and shattered it. He's punched through time. He's punched through dimensions. Should I go on? I could do this for all the Avengers.

Everything they do in the movies they don't do much more in the books, in the books they just say they are really strong but never actually do the feats the claim to be capable of. One of the biggest reasons I was so disappointed in Twilight. Plus Hulk and Thor can still beat them.

I don't even know why we're discussing books. This is the mvf.

That said, the Twivamps have shown (on screen) super speed faster than what Thor or Hulk has shown. Though they have not shown strength to equal Thor or Hulk.

So I do think Thor and Hulk are stronger, but the twivamps are faster.

Uh, Iron Man is easily supersonic, THor was keeping up with him just fine

Flying speed, yes. Not combat speed. You don't see them blur around and zip from here to there like the twivamps do.

Tony himself is obviously not supersonic in reaction-time.

Thor seems to be similar, though he is at least somewhat superhuman.

Please for the love of god read this. If you have read the series then you didn't pay very close attention to what was said in terms of their strength.

I have already posted this. Yes these are book feats and they are much more impressive than the movie feats, which I posted above.

Emmett has the power in one arm to equal that of a cement truck speeding down a sharp decline at over sixty miles an hour.
In the meadow, Edward shows Bella how strong and fast he is to try and scare her away. He circles it in half a second and then darts to an immense Sitka spruce with a low hanging, huge three foot wide bough. He "effortlessly" clutches it with one hand, snaps it off, balances it in his hand for a second, and then launches it across the meadow into another enormous tree where it shatters into a million pieces and knocks the tree to the ground.
Edward bites through Victorias diamond neck "so easily he could have been kissing her".
They need thunder to play baseball because of their incredible strength. After jasper hits the ball, he rounds the bases moving over a hundred miles an hour, and Carlisle, playing catcher, goes to intercept him. Their stone bodies collide with such a force that it sounds like an explosion, and is loud as thunder. They both walk away completely unharmed.
Edward is capable of juggling full sized vans, as he has before.
After losing his arm wrestling match, Emmett kicks a boulder across a nearby 50 yard wide river, where it slices several trees in half before smashing into an immense fir tree, which crashes to the ground.
When Rosalie seeks revenge on her ex fiancé for ending her human life, she finds him locked in a bank vault surrounded by several armed guards. After killing the guards, she smashes through the vault door and tortures him to death.
In the short second life of Bree tanner, Diego rips out a huge, sharp root from above their cave, and in an effort to prove to Bree that stakes can't hurt them, smashes it against his chest "with a force that would split a granite boulder in half" he lifts the splintered, obliterated wood off his unharmed chest.
Edward snatches a wrought iron rose off of his headboard with his hand, shows it to Bella with his palm up, closes his hand "gently" on it for half a second, and opens his hand to show that it had turned into iron dust.
When Edward is fighting Victoria, Bella thinks that Riley is about to kill Seth, and she can't tell who is winning the fight out of Edward and Victoria, so she cuts her arm with a fallen rock shard, making Victoria leap for her. Edward sidesteps to Riley, grabs his arm and puts his foot to Riley's back for leverage, and rips his arm off. He then throws the arm into Victoria (who is still in midair). It whistles to its target, and smacks into her with a sound "like an explosion", and she is sent soaring back into a huge tree, which snaps in half. She lands on her feet, poised again.
Back in ancient times, When the quillayute wolves hunted the first vampire they've encountered, three wolves fight one vampire, "the cold man". Their three brothers were killed before by the creature, so they knew they had to be cautious. The first went at him head on, and was "ripped apart like a doll". The other two were more careful, coming at him from both sides. They found out their teeth could damage the man who was "harder than a granite rock", but they had to exert the very limits of their supernatural speed and strength to hurt him. They began tearing pieces off of him, but eventually one of them slipped, and was quickly crushed to death by the man. The last wolf tore his head off and shredded him to pieces. After finding out that they could put themselves back together, he burnt the pieces into ash. The quillayute tribe lived in fear that the cold man was not alone, and they were right. Less than a year later, the cold woman entered the village one day. Her beauty caused many people to surround her and fall to their knees in worship, thinking she was a god. She began asking questions in a language no one could understand. When a man recognized her to be one of the creatures the wolves had hunted, he screamed for them to run. She killed him first. Out of the thirty people that had surrounded her, only two were spared because she paused to sate her thirst. Then an all out massacre occurred, with her slaughtering countless tribesmen. When the people tried to escape her wrath in their ships, she took to the water, swimming so fast she was blurry, and she smashed the ships to pieces with her incredible strength. After she was done there, she spotted a wolf that had come to fight her, and killed him. The leader of ther tribe, having found this out, went to face her. The two fought, and the chiefs wife could tell he would lose. She grabbed a knife from one of her dead sons, and ran to the fighting monsters. The cold woman was barely distracted by the fight, and paid little attention to the weak human woman with the knife that wouldn't even scratch her skin. She was just about to deliver the death blow, when the human woman fell down on her knees at the vampires feet, and plunged the knife into her own heart. Blood poured from her body, and distracted the vampire long enough for the chief to tear her apart.

This is actually kinda ironic...

"I've always loved superheroes, so the vampires I created are more like superheroes than vampires."- Stephanie Meyer

Well ya know besides the sparkly skin and pretty faces.. Lol

That was Bella guessing, hence her throwing out random numbers. You need to pay better attention to the nonsense novels you read.

From your posting: "The pressure increased, and I wondered randomly if a cement truck doing forty miles an hour down a sharp decline would have similar power. Fifty miles an hour? Sixty? Probably more."

The random ramblings of a naive high school girl are not fact. Even if we take the "60mph cement truck" as fact, it's far less than the power either Thor or Hulk can generate with one arm.

Didn't bother reading the rest of your word quilt.

That "naive high school girl" has the mind of an incredibly powerful indestructible immortal, which has exponentially enhanced motor control, coordination, senses, reflexes, reaction time, depth perception, tactile sensory, and measuring sensory. That arm might as well have been a scale. Wtf is your problem? After he lost, he kicked the rock across the river and it sliced some trees in half and then knocked down a huge fir tree... Ughhh! Such a sore loser!

And Thor couldn't do anything like that! He got run over and knocked out by a freakin truck! Bahahaha!!!

I'm sorry you can't comprehend what you read; she was taking wild guesses; it was in no way an accurate measure of power output. If the arm was some accurate scale as you claim, she would have said something like "A 20 ton cement truck doing 57mph down a 45% grade.", that's something of an accurate measure.

Thor could do more, as he's about as powerful as the Hulk, who definitely did more with his one-arm punch of the Leviathan ship.

You should also look up what "indestructible" means, cos you keep using it incorrectly.
