Pak explicitly states that superman flew from the end of the universe in 2 months with no mention of using blackholes. Superman ALSO states he flew in endless space for 60 days non-stop.The only mention of blackholes was when clark was boasting to bruce; we dont know the complete context of how, when and why superman flew through a couple black holes; but we know he did it to look impressive judging by bruces reaction.
And I don't think Clark told Bruce just to impress him although he did seem surprised.

Read the scans again. It was done to cure the doomsday infection. And why is the "specifically created black hole" at the end of Doomed the norm all of a sudden? It was created specifically to send Superman and Brainiac away from earth. No reason to think the other black holes Superman encountered worked as a wormhole. That's a total unsubstantiated theory which is contradicted by both Superman and the writer repeatedly.
How is the "theory" repeatedly contradicted by the writer?

Now, the way I see it.
Abhi's right, we can take it at face value. He only flew through the black holes to purge the Doomsday virus, AS per the text.
However, that is at odds with the first scan, where it says he flew NON stop for sixty days.
Either we take BOTH at face value, or we take neither. We obv have to take both, otherwise it all falls over.
If we take both at face value, he flew nonstop through space, going through black holes along the way (black holes, after all, are still in space).
Now, did these black holes aid his speed in any way? THAT is the main question that needs answering. And until I see proof that it did/did not, I can't say for certain. And surely, others can't either.

Yeah, which adds an additional dimension... Not to mention, he'd probably have to find yellow suns along the way to recharge etc.
But I cannot say for certain that he made the trip without using any holes to cut the distance down, and neither can i say for certain that he did.
But, he made his way back, he went into some black holes, and it took him 60days. That's all we can extract. Its a speed feat, alright, but not quantifiable with hard numbers, not without making assumptions, which opposing camps are just as justified in making.

Web-based interviews are inadmissible on the forums--we go by what was published in the comic itself. If you have an issue with that rule, I suggest you PM Bada. That said, per published/canon material straight from Pak himself, Superman flew through "a FEW black holeS"(plural)... And Bruce even reiterates: "Black holeS, huh?"(plural):
Since the black hole that sent Supes to the other side of the universe only accounts for ONE of those black holes, logic dictates that he MUST have flown through at least one additional black hole on his way BACK to earth... And why else would he purposefully plunge himself through a black hole during his return to earth, if not to expedite the journey..?
So yes, ODG's question/stance does make perfect sense whether you like it or not.

So logical answer would be to cleanse the doomsday infection as stated in the comic.
The black hole Superman created was specifically made to seal himself away from earth. He himself says that he has been tearing through space for sixty days non stop.
No mention of any shortcuts and Pak merely echoed what he wrote. Its essentially "I make up this theory which has no basis in the comic and you prove me wrong."
SMH at this desperate shit.

That does not disprove ODG's point.
And I don't think Clark told Bruce just to impress him although he did seem surprised. Why is that relevant?
No you read it again. He did not purposely enter black holes to cleanse himself. Clark hypothesized to Bruce that going through black holes may have cleansed him.And that's what the black hole did. No mention of a shortcut.
How is the "theory" repeatedly contradicted by the writer?Because the writer repeatedly states that Superman was simply flying through the space non stop.
And here too.
"I survived a black hole and sixty days in deep space." Again, no mention of a shortcut from deep space.
"But **** all this, why would Superman dive into a black hole other than cleansing the virus affecting him which he saw earlier?"

You are correct, Superman flew through deep space, no where did he ever use a black hole to return. You must get tired of dumb people here. 😂

Because the black hole he initially reduced the doomsday infection as seen.http://i.imgur.com/X5xDFlw.jpg
