I had to do it. Because the nitpicking of such a simple feat is mind boggling.

"Superman didn't fly all the way through even though he said it. He must've taken a shortcut because all black holes behave the same way. **** the writer, what does he knows about the comic. I won't produce a proof that the black holes Superman mentioned was acting like a wormhole. Its my opinion and I cast doubt upon this feat by that."

Honestly, why is accepting the feat at face value is so hard? Superman got an uber feat. So what?

We're not dismissing the face value of the feat. It's you who has to make it more than what it is. We are not nitpicking the feat, we are nitpicking your interpretation of it, which is different.

We ALL agree it's an uber feat. Could other heralds do it? Debateable. Just unquantifiable.

The comic hypothesizes that the virus was removed as a side effect of going through multiple black holes.

And the comic doesn't even imply that the black holes he went through were wormholes.

👆 It should be very clear he only went through one black hole. A good feat for Supes
How can you possibly have the confidence to believe that?

I make it more than what it is? I just said that superman crossed across the universe in sixty days. That's what happened.

Not an unquantifiable feat at all. Both time and distance were given.

Who are u the voice of reason?

I like a little hate fueled fanaticism every now and then.

It lets you know who is a little off on these boards.

😈

Distance was never given.....

And if you bring up how no mention was made of him using shortcuts, then no mention was made of his nightly activities, or as Smurph said, that it was Earth days, made up of 24 hours. Be consistent.

If he flew from one end to the other, how fast would that be? Since it took 60 days?

You'd have to make assumptions. Because the details given in the comic page were not detailed enough, apparently.

Yes, it was. He flew from the end of the universe.

He flew non-stop. What do you think that means? You are now just arguing for the sake of arguing dark.

Heres the right question to impose; so what if superman flew througha few black holes? we dont even know the context of it, when and how did he fly through a few black holes? and why did he do it?

Unless this is answered theres no point of bringing it up and declaring Greg Paks very own words mute.

ITS ALL UNQUANTIFIABLE!!!!!!!!

Apparently, that's what the whole crux of the argument to lowball this feat is.

No, no. You are not getting it. The feat is totally unquantifiable, no matter what the writer and the comics says.

That's what was in the comic. People just interpret it different, which is fine by me. 🙂

I feel bad for superman, the guy cant even get a decent feat without it being lowballed; whats next? superman cant punch a wall down?

The speed feat was billion times the speed of light, given the size of the Universe, if you lowball it with the "wormhole theory" or if you go by the comics and writer statements, nothing will change this. At least we can agree on this I guess.

Apparently it doesnt matter, apparently one ambiguous line from clark, with no context behind it, can be interpreted in any way to lowball the overall feat.

Welcome to KMC.

Writer and comics say he flew non-stop for 60 days, and he managed to get from the edge of the universe to Earth.

That's all.

When Superman/Brainiac initially crossed to the other side of the universe via black hole, it was much faster than 60 days.

Way better speed feat.
