Since its superman we're talking about, a plain and simple on panel feat with writer statements, just wont cut it, we need to analyze every inch of the panel, stretching all the way back to the beginning of the story arc.
^Yes, he also never had the strength to benchpress earth, because a statement said his punched could topple mountains and his power output was bigger than before, though the punches could be felt in space, but el oh el, it Superman.
Also Superman just standing there would have just destroyed the whole western hemisphere, but he didn't took a step so it is not a strength feat per see, because Supermans power has nothing to do with his strength.
Honestly, this board is sometimes full of.... oh in the name of Guy, I will stay friendly.

When Superman/Brainiac initially crossed to the other side of the universe via black hole, it was much faster than 60 days.Way better speed feat.
It was an artificial Wormhole/Blackhole, nothing natural, the sole purpose was to get rid of Brainiac.
Maybe Superman knows all the Black Holes that can be also used as Wormholes in the entire Universe to get some shortcuts, well, it is possible that the whole Universe is detailed in his mind or maybe he has the power to create Blackholes and could do so 6 times, before it exhausted him too much, two grand theories, that are as valid as the lowballtheory 😉.

O maybe he just teleported from the end of the universe and was just chilling somewhere on the beach for sixty days.
Who knows? Its all unquantifiable.

I'm just saying, he already topped the 2 month universe feat when he used the initial black hole to cross the universe at the beginning of the story arc.
That was an awesome speed feat.

Obviously not everybody. ODG actually has a valid point. Wouldn't it be stupid for him to enter black holes if he didn't need to use them to get home?Hell with what you're saying he probably could have cut the time it took for him to get home if he didn't stop and play around a couple black holes for fun. Amirite?
Or they were in the way. Superman was traveling multiple times the speed of light probably didn't want to veer from his course.
But, what ODG said is certainly plausible. If one black hole can act like a wormhole and transport him great distances, other black holes should be able to also. So we don't know how many blackholes/shortcuts he took and the size of those shortcuts.

I guess artificial wormhole/black holes equal all black holes in the universe?

Yes even more valid would be, if he doesn't know them all and where he will end up once inside a Wormhole, that he tried some, some were just normal Black holes, some were shortcuts and some were dead ends that put him even farther away. I would say the last one is the most plausible. So out of those 6 Black holes, there were 3 wormholes, one was a shortcut of 20 billion light years, and 2 were dead ends with no way back, except by flying, which increased the distance he had to fly by 80 billion lightyears. So he flew from the other side of the Universe + 60 billion lightyears in 60 days. 👆
Just throwing out better theories here guys.

Most major characters get nitpicked, but Superman gets it BAD. At the risk of derailing an already practically derailed thread, carter tries to lowball Superman ripping Doomsday in half because of Wonder Woman's sword going through him. Yet, it didn't actually hurt him. Which is the exact same argument carter uses to dismiss Preboot Supes breaking Soulfire Darkseid in half, Darkseid reformed right after, so it couldn't have really been all that impressive, could it?
Or how carter will insist that Superman never took that Sun-Eater that caused an explosion 50 times the size of a supernova, because Jonathon lied.....except the story was about Martha learning that they keep things about Superman being the underdog from her to keep her from worrying. Like how they told her they went fishing instead of a trip into space. THAT'S what she meant by "thanks for lying when I need it." Not the Superman facing the Sun-Eater was a lie. But it's Superman, so it can't be too impressive, can it?

He was hit by the shockwaves of the blast, not the entirety of it, even though we don't know the context of the entire story.

Someone needs to ban carver and his squad from coming near superman, they're living breathing kryptonite.

Exactly. Time for an analogy! From NYC, I drove for 10 days non stop across America to California.
Does that tell you how fast I was travelling? Phuck no.
I'm sure you guys can ASSUME a straight line, and extrapolate from that....but what if I actually drove by way of Miami? Alaska?
If I then said, I survived the interstate - does that mean I stopped driving? No. The interstate is still a part of America, and I was still driving.
At no point are the statements 'driving non-stop' and 'using the interstate'
contradictory of each other. SMH.
If superman took detours wouldn't that make the distance even greater? That makes the speed feat even more impressive than him traveling in a straight line.
