Actually, I feel like this is the kind of movie where someone like Lady Gaga could thrive.

I mean shit, Lindsay Lohan was in the first one. Lady Gaga can pull this off.

It's a forum, people rant and have opinions, just cause you don't agree doesn't make it stupid, I'd say think before you post but I doubt you have such a capability so it would be lost on you. I've seen some pretty good movie posters for some pretty shit movies with some pretty crappy acting.

Well considering the quality and acting of the first one she could probably fit right in and not be noticed 😛

Why does everyone hate Lady Gaga so much? (granted, the "Telephone" video was awful, but she's interesting, I think..)

I still haven't seen the first Machete... I need to get on that...

first one was funny as i didn;t take it serious at all

as for the sequel, i won;t take it too serious and hopefully it will be funny as well

Is it weird that when I saw the trailer for Machete with Grindhouse 'n whatnot, it looked awesome, but when I saw the trailer for the actual movie it look like garbage? Or am I way off?

That's why I haven't been too keen on seeing it..

see it and judge for yourself..

i first saw Machete on Cinemax several months ago.. it will most likely be back on cinemax, hbo, starz, etc soon enough

the acting was poor and it was very silly yet entertaining

It's still quirky enough to enjoy.
Some great one liners, some nice shots of T&A, some big names hardly acting but having fun...it's a fun ride.

I'm not the one having a go at someone for having a rant, it's a forum...what do you expect? Like I said people are gonna have rants and opinions, they're gonna be different to yours and just cause they are doesn't make them stupid

Where in my post did I even say RR was wrong? I said that I've seen some good movie posters for shit movies...what the hell does that have to do with anything RR said? Maybe RR is right, maybe Gaga is a good actress and will fit right into the role and if she does I'll happily admit I was wrong but in the mean time allow me to sceptical.
