What's she gonna do? Wear a meat dress and tell the killer he can't see her p-p-p-poker face? I don't think I could watch a movie with lady gaga and even if I could I'm not sure I could take it seriously
As somebody mentioned, Lindsey Lohan was in the first, so.... that is your cut off? Somewhere between Lohan and Gaga?
Gaga suits a tacky sleazy Grindhouse film environment. She really does. Actually she fits in these kinds of films better than Robert De Niro.
And as much as all Rodriguez films become stale after half an hour I always appreciate his attempts at this genre.
He lacks real vision though and seems to get bored before finishing his films. For they always feel rushed by the end. He couldn't get it right the first time yet he's making another one. Oh well good luck to him.
Gaga will draw in bigger bucks.

Um... not true for Sin City, From Dusk till Dawn, El Mariachi, Desperado, and Planet Terror. Those were all pretty f#cking legit in my book. Once Upon a Time in Mexico sucked, though.

I forgot about Dusk till Dawn and Sin City. Yeah they were good.
Desperado series were just crap versions of Django.
Planet Terror a dull version of Nightmare City. Had a few good scenes but most of it was bleh.
From Rodriguez as a director, I have liked:
El Mariachi
Desperado
From Dusk Till Dawn
Sin City (loved this movie)
Grindhouse/Planet Terror (loved this too)
Machete
Really, I have only hated Once Upon A Time in Mexico and I never saw the Spy Kids movies. I can't remember if I ever saw the Faculty or if it was just forgettable. Finally, he didn't direct Predators, but I believe he played a major role in the film and I enjoyed it as a suitable reboot to Predator.

I know your only pointing out those movies are better some of those movie which RR has done
but it means squat really when folks haven't seen them.
Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun are the two Grindhouse faux trailers to get the feature treatment. Both were actually more entertaining in their shorter form, in my opinion. Now, Machete is getting the sequel treatment...?
I wish I could strap Robert Rodriguez to a chair, give him truth serum, and get the real reason why that follow up to Sin City has yet to be made, after they were so eager... 😖hifty:

Yeah, at this point it's gonna have to be pretty epic to please, cuz it's been so long.. I dunno.. people might have kind of lost interest.
I watched Machete.. lol. It was entertaining. Some parts were actually pretty hilarious. But most of the money shots were shown on the trailer. I do look forward to seeing Gaga sleezin' it up in the sequel, though. Should be fun. And this time I won't watch any trailers.
