Just responding to Arabus. The idea was that Thanos alone would be a serious threat, and adding the Hulk to the mix at such a high level is overkill.

Thanos reacted to the Fallen One, and he was blitzing the titan. As a Herald of Galactus, the Fallen one could easily be argued to have the ability to travel from one point to the other, faster than the fastest women on the field. Thanos owned the shyt out of him, and he was burning through Galactus' armor like it was paper <-- (The Fallen One did that). this in itself is quite the feat. The women really have no chance. Thanos is bad enough to smile as the Surfer blasted him in the face with enough juice to blow a planet to dust.

Maxima has TP, Thanos has TP that he can augment with Mysticism. If Thanos fell for a second which he wouldn't, the Hulk would take over, and vice versa. This would be like the campers vs Micheal Meyers, and Jason Voorhees on roids.

Are you conceding then that Thanos would typically have to rely on his shields to try and tank an attack from a 'high herald that blitzes', and is not fast enough to say...put every one in a force cube at the beginning of the fight like some posters here are suggesting?

He laughed at the Surfers attack. He took on Tyrant. He took on Odin. The last two did not outright one shot him like they did to many High Heralds. Thanos has a weakness to Drax's touch. Drax was made to cancel out Thanos' durability. This is why he was able to reach right through Thanos' shields, whereas Nova was beating the hell out of Drax, and the Surfer would skin Nova, and yet be beaten to death by Thanos.

If he's fast enough to put everyone into a force cube at the start of the fight like you were saying, and Drax is as dangersous as you and everyone else here are alleging, then what's Thanos' excuse for oh, I don't know, not being quick enough to turn around or step out of the way of Drax just getting behind him and shoving his heart out of his chest?
