Sure, why not, got plenty of rolls here.

And wait- you mean to say that what I just had Denz say, made sense? I just made it up out of the blue, and I am pretty sure at least one sentence is not a fact but a guessed assumption that could actually be a lie.

Everything looked good to me.

In any case, two successes gives Boss Hin-Hon pause on his 'I hate the Naboo!' stance.

"Mesa not total convinced that thingsa besser dan dey were," Boss Hin-Hon says with reluctance. "Yousa came to blah blah wit me, no the Naboo. Whysa dey no comin down here? Hmm?"

Perhaps because no one is better qualified.

Denzral will survey the room for a moment, before turning back to Boss Hin-Hon, looking for anything out of the ordinary, anything that wouldn't normally belong in a Gungun city.

Did the Senator not say that they had tried to contact them?

Of course they did, but that does not appear to be the point Hin-Hon is making.

The Senator sent Denz in his stead as he was having a child... think Denz could say something like that.

"Senator (forget name) of the Naboo would have come himself, but he is with his wife today, and they are having a child. I was asked to come before you in his stead, believing that I am a person most suited to the task of navigating the depths of the planet's core, and to speak in his place."

Boss Hin-Hon is not moved by the Duke of Theed's familial development.

"Yousa NOT Naboo!" Hin-Hon says. "Yousa from da Republic. Bombad Jedi yousa be, but not Naboo."

"Surely the fact they have asked me to come before you, bring fourth a more Galaxy-wide effort to bring the Naboo, and the Gunguns as a people further into the Republic as friends and allys. I am a Jedi, a Guardian of Peace and justice through-out the Republic. I represent and serve not only the Naboo, but the combined wishes of the Republic, and that includes the Gunguns. Surly you do not wish there to be conflict once more. The differences between your people and the Naboo has lasted many many years and finally those differences are being settled. Do you choose to live in that past where your life is controlled by the past, or do you wish a brighter future for your entire world? Civil war between the tribes of your people could begin again as these differences rise up once more, as it did thousands of years ago. It is time to leave the past behind. Remember your heritage, remember what you have acheived, and move forward."

(Yep, I think Denz just stuffed it all up!)

Denzral makes another Persuasion roll to see how his speech fairs against Boss Hin-Hon... but Denzral, despite rolling well, is not quite hitting the issue that Hin-Hon has with your presence.

He understands what you represent, but he doesn't understand why the Naboo can't come down here themselves and handle this themselves. Why did they need an outsider?

Do you want another hint, Denzral? I can't spell this out for you but I'd like to move on.

The Naboo could not come, because they are rebuilding, healing, after their plight with the Blockade/Battle, right? Their people starved and buildings were damaged, and losses were taken for all the unified Naboo, and they are dealing with that. As the saying goes, a wounded man, cannot stand on his own, but requires the aid of an ally to move forward on his quest.

You could argue I am that ally, here to aid all Naboo in this matter, for you'sa.

Or you could argue that you are that ally, that will help build a brighter tomorrow.

Perhaps something like that would work, I just don't know how to word it. (I also have no idea what I'm, saying any more)

Boss Hin-Hon is starting to get tired of your attempts to reason with him.

He DOES latch onto one thing that you say.

"Yousa here to aid alla Naboo, hmm?" Hin-Hon asks. "Den yousa mebbe helpin' us..."

"I would consider it, certainly." Denzral glanced apologetically at the King and Trozen, before focusing on Boss Hin-hon.

"Wesa havin' bombad problem..." Boss Hin-Hon begins.

Hin-Hon tells you the tale of the Uhura Monster. He does not go very indepth and he talks slowly so you can understand him, but he regals part of the Gungan creation myth. Some of the names and places you don't quite catch. The most important part is the Uhura Monster, a spawn of some demon that the Gungans' gods fought against at some point.

It is, essentially, a monstrous sea dragon. It is vicious and destructive, like the demons that created it. These roving monsters are incredibly rare and are said to breed in Naboo's porous deep planetary core, where the heat warms their eggs. The Gungans attribute mystical powers to the dragon, based on legends that have been passed down since the old times, before the Naboo surface colonizers came.

One has taken residence in the crevasse near Hin-Hon's city, having come up from the core. It is preventing the Gungans from harvesting their kelp gardens or fishing around the city.

"Yousa destroyin' thissa Uhura for us," Boss Hin-Hon says. "Yousa havin' maybe a friendship from us widda da Naboo. If yousa failin' us... yousa trespassin' in mesa city, outsider. Yousa bein' pyoonished! Mesa tinkin' death penalty, iffa da Uhura not eatin' yousa first."

Oh, good... bet you are glad we are moving on?

Denzrals follows what the Boss says as much as possible.

"Do you have weapons and a craft I could use?"

I would need some form of craft and perhaps weapons?

Boss Hin-Hon wonders what is so wrong with the submarine you took to get down here, or the weapons you have with you.

A) To Denzral's knowledge the submarine has no weapons, and took quite a beating with some kind of giant tiger fish

B) Do blasters work under water? (The Clone Wars thinks they do, but I'm sceptical)

C) Did Denz bring any grenades? (I know I had them before but that may have been a different game - whats happening with that Xmas game, I was doing well in that one?)

D) Can a human Jedi survive in the waters at these depths? (again, according to The Clone Wars, they can; but I am not positive)

E) I am assuming Denzrals usually chosen equipment includes (at this point) a grapple hook, rebreather (for underwater breathing), a power pack, edibles, data-pad and splicing kit, grenades (thermal detonators/micro-thermite explosives), and other equipment?

Boss Hin-Hon is not going to lend you a submarine. As it stands, the Gungan subs are also unarmed.

You can make a Fix-It roll to jury-rig them to function underwater.

You brought a few grenades; it is Hard Dexterity rolls to use them, since you don't have Heavy Weapons. You only get successes on 6.

You can survive, but it is Strength rolls each round to not pass out if you lack a breathing apparatus. I will rule that you probably have one tucked away in your Jedi kit.

Safe assumption.

"Trozen, can you handle grenades?" Denzral asked.

Trozen is a big guy and a marksman with a big rifle, but heavy weaponry isn't really how the Halloyans go about combat.

I do usually allow a small pool bonus for utilizing kinetic Force powers.

Denzral almost turned to his side, to ask Soapy if he was up to the task of making the sub more fight less sink, but instead turned to the Boss. "Can you provide me with a small shield generator that would work with our submarine?"
