Captain America Shields Test

It has only been broken once with pure physical strength hasn't it?

The hammer doesn't have to show it is charged to prove extra durability. Thor's hammer is already more durable than normal Uru without showing it is charged. We know this by feats. Showing a charge can prove extra destructive force or power behind the throw, not necessarily extra durability.

The scenes are comparable because of the damage done Period

Mjolnir is well above average Uru, thanks to the Odinpower/enchantments laced within it-- that much has been stated on panel, so we know it's fact.

What was not stated, shown or even alluded to, is Thor's hammer-strike being in any way 'amped' when it struck the shield. Therefore, it is faulty, and moreover illogical, to assume it was amped. Conversely, it was stated, shown AND alluded to that KT's hammer-throw was 'amped' when it killed Desak in the Destroyer armor. Therefore, it is sensible, and moreover logical, to asume it was amped.

Not only are you trying to compare incomparable instances, but worse yet, you're trying to justify why you're doing so. Poor logic... Very poor.

Thanos /w/ PG and The Serpent, no?

Thanos was what I thought, didn't the Serpent have some sort of Energy manipulation going as well?

Maybe:

It's hard to tell, though.

Imo, Only juggs might break it. Juggs cause of the enchantment. Hulk might also because of the powerup (again maybe just dent it or damage it....not just) and Sbp (depend on how long he will concentrate his heat vision on the shield).

It's also been stated... Scans can be found in the respect thread.

Amped strikes/throws>>>unamped strikes/throws. This is incontrovertible.

Therefore, the amped throw KT used vs. Desak>>>the unamped strike he used vs. the shield. So again: those instances are not directly comparable in any way/shape/form. This is an extremely easy concept to grasp-- dunno why you're making it so difficult.

Uru on its own is tough, but no where near close to being indestructible.

It's when enchanted that its properties become astronomically more potent. This has been stated and shown alike.

How or why that is being disputed is beyond me.

Yeah, I think I'll stop there with him. No use trying to press on anymore.

Hey, don't blame me for being a well read "Thor bag".

Please do.

@Jake. Always good to see Thor fans still being strong. Rage has given up and doesn't even visit the site anymore due to what writers are doing with Thor. Stay strong my friend. Stay strong.

...LOL

My punched can be amped with more force behind it but that doesn't make my fist more durable. Being amped is ambiguous term, it could very well mean in force or destructive power only, not necessarily durability.

Also I went through the respect threads (Thor right?) but can't find it. Can you either point me to where it is or provide an issue number?

But can your punches be amped up enough for you to punch an egg without breaking it ?

Also , what sort of fluff are your fists made from , since they aren't more durable ?

Cap's shield is more durable than Mjolnir.

I would think by a decent margin.. but meh.. who knows for sure.

Yes
In comparison to adamantium they are made of the softest fluff alive.

Yes what ?

I didn't mention adamantium .

Yes to your first question.
Fluff is a comparison term. Two things must be compared to use the term fluff in the sense I used it. For example, paper is fluff in comparison to steel but it is not fluff in comparison to cardboard.

Juggernaut is the only one who breaks it!!
