Superman is far faster and somewhat stronger than Thanos. He has intangibility for defense, unfair freeze breath to temporarily slow down his opponents, and insane mobility and multitasking abilities. At his best he will trump Thanos soundly.
Gladiator will beat Thanos if he used his top speed and was at his best strength wise. Current Glads is a beast. Surfer can black hole blast Thanos, go intangible, and hit Thanos from behind with his board all day long.
