I didn't say that Applejack was a bad character, just thats shes a worse one than Pinkie Pie. Because her character is fairly static and boring. She has no major character problem beyond stubbornness which was dealt with in her first episode. And she has nothing to strive for because she's already exactly where she wants to be in life, picking apples. Aaand her character is a little less nuanced than the others, partially because of that. Shes a loyal, stand-up gal who likes picking apples. And thats about it. This doesn't make her bad, just less interesting than the rest of the Mane Six in my opinion.
Also I disagree with Pinkie being flanderised. She's always been childishly zany.
