I did not leave kmc for 6 months. I am all over th board. I can't help it you video game versus posters wait on my every word.

It shows how fast he is that a human being armed and waiting for a threat can't even react in time against a vampire more than 30 feet away.
Originally posted by quanchi112Nice rant but you seem to be failing to answer such a simple question: Does Ganondorf have the ability to perceive things moving which he cannot see?
I'm saying the arrow thing is a gameplay mechanic which forces the gamer to use his sword to win. That is obvious but you gamers like to twist things. It's awful and is obvious. Dorf canonically is beaten by arrows.
Canonically he doesn't dodge arrows.
Bullet>>arrows. So we can establish Eric at just over 1,000 years can react to bullets.
Irony; Dorf can dodge arrows in two different battles but when he gets hit by an arrow he can't see coming while on horseback, that means he can not dodge arrows. Eric just manages to react to a bullet once, then we have him tagged buy bullets, sub-sonic vamps and other slow things several times when he's well aware he's in this kind of situation when he can see it coming.. but they mean nothing for being 'caught off-guard' in favour of that barely bullet-timing.
Posting again because you're reply for some reason was about the speed of bullets to arrows, nothing to do with the post given to you. You're certain Eric can react to bullets due to a single instance, when we have him being tagged by that and less several times. But when Dorf reacts to Link's arrows in two battles, thats means nothing because of one battle with out-of-sight arrows. Is there a reason or do we just keep this as biased?

Yes, it did. Don't start kissing Russell's ass now. He tosses someone that far so its obvious he can hurl Link around easily since he doesn't outweigh her greatly. Russell can easily rip through flesh and Gorons are comprised of flesh.
We can see that no damage is left on the pillar, don't flat out deny video evidence.. its unsightly.
"This is nothing to a creature far heavier than a human launched straight up. To say nothing on crushing large rocks."

They can be caught off guard but Bill can't keep up when Eric uses his speed.
He uses power to stay on the horse. It's clear.
Once again flat out denying a scene with nothing to back it up? Deny Link wasn't sitting on Epona. Deny Link was only holding onto the saddle.

Yes, and in no instance involving his strength. He uses it against the dragon to pull it down from flight and against the Twili Goron, latter needing him to have the huge physical strength in order to hold the chain. No other combat requires them. But once again, its stated and shown that Link has the same strength with or without the boots.

We don't see it do significantly greater damage to an evil being. We see the other sword cut into his body just the same except this time the Ms prevents his magic from keeping him alive.Hyperbole. It's like saying Odin is all powerful and omnipotent.
...Quan thats not even close 😐. If Odin states his omnipotent, until its proven all we have is his own word on his own power (note that), so hyperbole. Ganondorf stating a specific method of killing himself is the exact opposite, telling Link exactly what he needs to kill him is not a boastful claim, especially when its been repeatedly prove.
Then again you have yet to explain how your theory that its anti-magic can be backed up in a single example that anti-evil cannot be considered. Because its come to the point where statements, characters inc Dorf, descriptions.. all the canon information with evidence to back it up are all being given to the pro side. Your con side consists of you just saying that its anti-magic while pointing at a scene and saying 'yup, thats anti-magic'.
Originally posted by quanchi112And Gorons shatter human-sized rocks, we've covered this.
Russell easily tears through flesh. Link is comprised of flesh. I never argued per feats. I argue based on common sense, abilities, and what's in character. Most people who argue by feats alone ignore the portrayals and are biased. It's awful.
Common sense? We see Link consistently do things, it means he can do them.
Abilities? Its been numerously stated and shown that Link has superhuman strength.
In character? Contending with powerful beasts has been his MO for years, his creator even stated he intended Link to have this strength.
Every "portrayal" has him being a superhuman character, every feat demonstrates this.
But do go on about how a person that uses feats for every single fiction must be biased for or against each one 😛
Now then, before I do anything in earnest, I think I want to establish what page everyone's on. Maybe it'll save some confusion and prevent wacky misunderstandings. So for that reason,
POP QUIZ
This will consist of a true/false section and a short answer section, of a few questions each. Anyone is free to take the quiz, as it is worth points. However, the points don't matter. Except you, quan, you are special and I just want to know where you stand so that I know exactly where we disagree.
Quiz 1 section 1: True or False. Please read the statements carefully and indicate whether a given statement is true or false by typing a T for true or an F for false.
1. Link has superhuman strength. (T/F)
2. The Iron Boots increase Link's arm strength. (T/F)
3. Link has superhuman durability. (T/F)
4. A car is heavier than Dangoro the Goron. (T/F)
5. The Sol infused Master Sword gives off magical sunlight and deals extra damage to dark creatures. (T/F)
6. Vampires in the True Blood series have a weakness to sunlight. (T/F)
Quiz 1 section 2: Short Answer. Please answer the following questions in complete sentences and give specific examples of your reasoning.
1. How strong is Russell Edgington? (You may give a specific number or a general strength class.)
2. How fast is Russell Edgington? (You may give a specific number or general speed class.)
3. Compare and contrast a feat vs. a portrayal.
Please place all completed quizzes face down at the front desk.

See above (T)
Russell Edgington is strong enough to give halt to a slow moving mass of approximately 700 kg. It's possible, but unproven, that he could lift that or slightly more weight above his head, which would be significantly more physically taxing.
He is fast enough to be invisible to humans at close ranch, which, IIRC, puts him at around 90 mph baseline.
Do I lose marks for cutting some of my answers out of the text book?

Or getting caught when he knew the AVL we're right outside for him? Basically three irrelevant examples. Slapping, biting (lol?) and throwing have nothing to do with Russell's forward momentum needing to be countered by Link's weight. You can at best use the throwing example, but that instance could be the same as Link seeing as Russell has human weight. The Iron Boots counter a heavy forward momentum. Russell is neither heavy nor would his attack consist of ramming.

Yes, since he was preparing for an attack but Russell was that fast. He ran right up to him. Your bias is showing.
He gets hit by arrows. Canon. It isn't canon he avoids arrows. Fact.
He has shown the speed to avoid a bullet which greatly exceeds anything Dorf has ever done. We see Link and Dorf tagged by far less as well.
You are trying to kiss his ass. Not on my watch.
We see slight damage there. Flesh is still soft and they are very slow.
Eric was in control and Bill was also aided. When he uses speed Bill can't tag him.
He was using his strength to stay on her.
I gave three tactics he can win with. Try and keep up. If he puts the iron boots on he is practically immobile.
He isn't strong enough to stop forward momentum or take on someone who greatly outweighs him.
I am saying we don't see a difference. Both swords impaled him. One cut off magic and he died.
The comic is stating Hes omnipotent.
Te magic clearly dispels his magic. That's true but the anti evil and what not is hyperbole.
Yes, his flesh can still be cut into.
You cling to high feats and apply physics when it suits your side and abandon it otherwise.
I said he is spear strong but not to the point you are claiming and he isn't super durable either.
