True but DC's record so far is similar.

Ra's Al Ghaul - dead
Bane - dead
Parallax - dead
Zod - dead

of the characters you named, Zod is the only one connected to this universe.

good point. 👆

Wonder who that mystery person is in the cave?.....some places i've been to are thinking its Shuri, Black Panther's Sister.

Ultron's CGI looks a little iffy.

Otherwise, looks good. Hulk vs Hulkbuster looks phenomenal.

That's just beautiful. I'm not normally a big Hulk fan, but Marvel studios has done a great job with him. He was the scene stealer I the first film and it looks like he will be again.

Looks like he got punched in the eye pretty good.

was wondering the same thing. popular theory is it's a Dora Milaje member.

I've seen CBR's commmunity their attempt to get things from the trailer, what they think is its Nebula... 😬

it's clearly a black chick. not a blue chick.

Here is another crazy theory from supposed insider info:

Spoiler:
I have some interesting information from a quick convo with a guy named Wayne or Wade something, works in the casting of the MCU.

This woman is Enchantress. He told us Joss Whedon likes the idea of making her Heimdall's sister or something and giving her ties to Wakanda to bring it to the forefront of the MCU. The conversation went something like this.
"Whedon is really pushing for this change, he really want to replace the overly high amount of white faces in the film. Making Enchantress a strong black woman in a similar vein to power the previously slayer in Buffy was a strong black woman."
"Oh shit really? Aren't they changing too many characters from the source material?"
"Joss wants her to be a former lover of the west African god of thunder Shango, who was really a misinterpreted Thor. But she shared the Technology of the Asgardian with proto Wakandans. It's cause of this that she was banished to earth forever and her brother forced to give watch over the planet Earth till he dies."
"Now she need a pool of eternal youth to survive the aging process. Thor uses this pool shortly after getting ****ed up by that Ultron robot and the Avengers get disassembled."
"Thor releases her from banishment in order to use the pool. She leaves for Asgard and leaving Black Panther's father total rule over the kingdom."
"We changed minor things like the Mandarin and Ultron to be a space virus as a test. Iron man 3 was still a huge success so we went on with this change."

^

probably bullshit, but just in case, I'm not gonna look at it.

Rumor is that Garfield has been let go, and Spidey is gonna join the MCU in Infinity War 1.

Garfield gone makes me sad. On the other hand, they've f*cked up his villains, and his villains need to be done justice before they are made a part of the MCU. I don't know how I feel about this.

Spoiler:
Also, Cap apparently dies in Civil War, and Thor gets trapped in some kind of prison in Ragnorok. Both are absent from IW part 1 when Spidey makes his debute. The Avengers in that movie are going to have a lot of new additions.

But I don't want him to die 🙁

Don't get your hopes up, Spidey's staying at Sony.

Yes, and he is dead. Also, there is only one movie for this so far and their main villain is dead. But going with prior DC titled movies, the only one that survived was Joker. They already have an established trend of dead villains. Even Sharon Stone died in that terrible Catwoman movie. It's not just Marvel.

There is also this universal myth that DC villains are so great compared to the MCU villains, when in fact there was only the joker that was memorable (he was great even though the fact ledger died increased his joker portrayal popularity)
Who else was so great? bane was average at best imo, Zod same (same type of villain as maleketh and ronan), ras al goul was good not great, scarecrow was forgetable, catwoman was meh.

Those movies don't exist within this shared universe, they are irrelevant to the discussion, the trend you're talking about doesn't exist, and your entire point is moot.

One example does not a trend make.

Don't know why people keep continuing to bring up that 2004 Catwoman, Has nothing to do with that Batman universe only in name.

Marvel "killed" off Loki and returned him in the very same movie. They can easily bring back their villains if they want, at least most of them.

I got a feeling that's what they might have planned for Red Skull.
