Avengers: Age of Ultron

Thanos is rather lame. Has anyone read the infinity gauntlet recently? It's a mess. Let's not forget his entire motivation is to impress a girl who's not interested in him. Thanos believes the friend-zone is real. Drop him in the real world and he's probably rocking a sweet fedora.

Might not be seeing Kang in a Avengers movie or any movie for that matter unless something can be worked out, Fox owns his rights

That's your opinion. The original ig was one of the best comic book stories of all time. He's also going after an abstract being the concept of death not some chick, sport.

Yes, my opinion is my opinion. Touche'

As for your statement about it being "one of the best comic stories of all time" is also an opinion. So we'll go *** for tat there.

And are you referring to the movie Thanos? Because you have no idea what his motivations are, if so. Because he's barely done anything.

As well, the character Thanos in the comic books motivation is literally to impress a character named Death, who is a woman, who he loves. That's NOT an opinion.

My opinion is that a character who's biggest plot involves trying to get a girl to like him is lame. If you think that's super cool and rad, that's swell for you.

I am referring to the comments you made in relation to his motivations for death aka from the comics.

She isn't a woman. 😂

Do you feel she was birthed by a human mother ? That's not a fact that's an outright lie. She is the embodiment of a concept. He adores the concept and the physical embodiment of death. That's pretty cool. She isn't some chick. Quit making things up.

Please don't try to discredit my opinion by sarcastically asking if I think Death is a human person.

I'd be down with the desire to have Death love you abstractly as a cool sort of motivation, but that goes out the window when Death often looks like this

The"embodiment" of death, sure. But it's still a womans form that it usually takes. Even so much as Death is called "MISTRESS DEATH"

If you want to paint it in a cool way, it's still Thanos trying to woo the embodiment of death in a lady body.

It's not even cool like "Oh he's this Mad Titan guy who is so obsessed with the concept of Death he wants it to love him BACK" because Death literally has **** and an ass.

Here's Josh Brolin discussing Thanos role in the movies:

“His relationship with Death, who is actually the woman, I love that. You can take Sin City [in which Brolin plays a man obsessed with a dark-hearted woman] and pump it full of steroids, and then you have Thanos. I like that he’s motivated by that — not just motivated by destruction or death or this or that. He’s motivated by a very identifiable, human trait.”

Now that was funny.

I agree with quanchi112. If Thanos wants, he can have just any chick. It's not about boobs, it's about the metaphor. Thanos is in love with the embodiment of death, he is in love with death. That's ****ing crazy and a little scary, considering how powerful he is.

Thanos has no loyalties to human things like wealth and hatred, his only motivation is to appease death and destruction. Add to that the fact that he's cold, calculating and one of the most powerful beings in the universe, that's some damn good story.

All I'm hearing is that he loves something/someone who doesn't love him back. Throws a fit he's in the friend-zone.

Let us pray that in the films they don't focus so much on the"Wahh, why am I in the FZ again!" aspect, cos not sure how well that will go over in live-action and just stick to good ole' "I want supreme dominion overall", like the pimp named Darkseid.

So another great villain Fox is just sitting on.

Thanos is all about death and destruction. He dreams and desires it and it's his destiny to fall into a delirium because of it and ultimately despair...

To be fair Darkseid is a pretty boring villain

So... any word on the BD version release date?

When i read it, I fail to see how Fox even owns him when its only his Rama-tut Identity since that one appeared in F4 comics. Whereas the Kang Identity appeared in the Avengers comics along with his other identities Immortus and Iron Lad.

I don't give a shit about Kang.

Great analysis of Age of Ultron.

YouTube video

Another good breakdown.

YouTube video

I think we've all seen the movie.

Don't know why I'd want to watch someone else's opinion on it now.
