YA THINK!!

but anyway as for the character we better see him wearing a monocle and have a robot arm.

Whedon says Godfather 2 is his guiding star

Rumours huh?
...what would a message board be without them?

But then where's Ultron gonna come from? He must also be Jarvis related.

Ultron's gonna be a rogue AI. Basically like Technovore, but Ultron since Pym didn't create him in this universe.

Perhaps Jarvis creates Ultron instead of the other way around?

DC, take some notes.

Take notes on what? There's nothing there to take notes on except for contradicting comic book origins.

Take notes on how to cast for their characters, because apparently they don't know how to.

BTW, the movie universe is different from Earth~616. There is a cinematic universe, and then the comics universe. There phuckin different you dumass. So marvel does not have to follow comic origins verbatim.

Eh? This casting choice pretty much confirms that Jarvis and Ultron are connected somehow.

Butthurt over such a small comment?

1). This is hardly some epic casting which DC should "take notes" on. At least not until you see his performance, and you see the performance of the actors DC has cast. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston would be better ones to take notes on. And even those were notable only after we saw the final result.

2). Of course the movie and comic verse are different. I didn't even criticize the change of Origin. I was just asking what exactly you wanted DC to learn from this. But while we're on the topic, it's rarely a good thing when a comic book character's origin is completely changed for the big screen. And this one in particular is a slap in Hank Pym's face.

3). If you want me to take you seriously in future you should stop defending every single move Marvel make as holier than holy, and stop acting all crazy every time someone even hints at a criticism of them. Here listen to these guys:

OMG, Paul Bettany cast a The Vision! OMG!

But really, he's a decent actor, so I'd expect him not to **** it up. Fassbender would have been a decent choice too, only cos he played an android (David) eerily and creepedly well.

1. It may not be an "epic" casting, but it's a casting that makes sense. Unlike DC, Marvel casting both pleases and excites the fan base. DC can take notes on Marvel's casting success, and patience for character development. I say this because I saw much better options for Bats, Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman, than Affleck, Eisenberg and Gadot. MUCH much better options.

2. Stop downplaying your own comment. It's clear you were implying criticism. As if "There's nothing there to take notes on except for contradicting comic book origins" is a legitimate suggestion for DC. Also, while we're on the topic, I would argue it is a good thing in this situation. Pym is a scientist, his specialty is not technology. It actually makes much more sense that Stark creates Ultron. Besides, the Ant-Man movie is still in development - it would be a terrible idea to keep the origin story intact at this point.

3. I honestly couldn't give less of a shit what you think of me. Also, I don't defend every little move Marvel makes. I only defend the good ones.

You, on the other hand, were defending the Eisenberg casting 😆

Anyways, I respect that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. As are you.
