The serum that the Japanese made was called Miraclo. In the comics, Miraclo gives Hourman his power but only for an hour (hence the name).

Might just be a Barry Allen episode without him becoming the Flash just yet.

On another note I wonder if John Diggle might eventually become John Stewart? Would add a lot to the whole Green Lantern/Arrow history.

I believe he doesn;t become the flash until the second episode he is in , but might be wrong

I've heard it's his 3rd episode which will be the backdoor Flash pilot.

The 3rd episode with Barry Allen is like episode 20. Still whenever he becomes the Flash I'm eager to see new portrayal of Barry Allen, and the introduction of superpowers to the Arrow Universe.

i agree.. the introduction of superpowers into Arrow's universe I think will pave the way for other super powered beings

Apparently The Flash will not be appearing in Arrow as planned. They decided to go straight to pilot. Not bad that they decided to give him his own show even though I wanted to see him in Arrow.

its my understanding that barry allen will still appear but they will have him become the flash when his show airs

Correct. Now we have to wait longer to see the Flash.
