Good. Mostly I've just been sitting on my couch, counting the ways that this show copies Batman.

So what are they going to do for the show? Its the mid season final next week but its a two part ep. At first I thought one would play then the 2nd part was going to air when it came back but the preview stated it like "mid season two part final" so are they airing two eps in a row, making the final after the second part in two weeks, or is it going to to do it the way I thought in the first place?
Next year can't come "fast" enough! I WANT FLASH SPIN OFF NOW!

Would you want one even if they used Smallville level of effects?

As long as the acting is good, the story is great, and the character is done justice then absolutely. Though they claim they want to portray his super speed more like they do in the comics and not the same as Smallville so its up in the air to how that will turn out anyways.

I'm pretty confident in the writers' ability to make a good Flash introduction considering how well they have done with the series so far. But I would really like it if they got a higher budget to make some cool superspeed effects.
Also what was up with Count Vertigo? I'm not sure whether to like him for the Joker-Tribute or hate him for being cartoonish. Damn these conflicting feeling.

I know right?
Yeah if Arrow is any indication of the level of writing in The Flash then it will be great im sure. I would love for a wonderful portrayal of super speed but im not sure how they could go about it without it looking a little goofy.
I think that they wanted The Arrow to have a villain like the Joker so they just took a gamble on making Vertigo that villain. The actor did a great job playing it but I had hoped for his character to develop into a more prominent villain.

its my understanding that barry allen will still appear but they will have him become the flash when his show airs
That's annoying. I was really looking forward to seeing The Flash this season!

Maybe Ollie will appear in the Flash pilot. Would make sense seen as originally Arrow was supposed to be the backdoor pilot for the Flash.
There is still hope that WB will use Ollie and Flash for their film universe.

Oohh I hope so.
I think the supposedly planned Flash film for 2016 wouldn't make sense if the Flash series is running simultaneously and a big hit (I'm assuming of course the film is an origin story with a different actor).

Well Smallville was running when Superman Returns came out so who knows.
Don't think it would work personally. Because we'd essentially have a Flash origin next year and another one 2 years later?
Then again it would be good for giving Flash loads of exposure, and fans of the series would probably like to see the same thing done on the big screen with a huge budget for special effects.
