I admit, I am enjoying it a lot more again, as well, because they sorted out the horrible action choreography from the last season. It's much more enjoyable watching a show about a super-killed, ninja-like fighter, if he actually looks the part when he is fighting.

So I decided to watch the first episode of Season 5 and noticed that the choreography finally stopped sucking. which was a big flaw in season 4. I figured that the crossover was just a one time deal for that but will catch up if the mid-season was as strong as that opening IMO.

Yes, there is a noticeable overall improvement in fight/action sequences in S5. Some fights are still better shot than others but, overall, it makes S4 look flat-out pathetic.

ugh the fighting can be the worst. personally I kinda hate it... even now. I didn't remember it being that bad in seasons 1-3 but I could be jaded.

still waiting for the sidekick squad to not suck but at least they are trying to switch it up

Yeah, Lexa Doig is great.

That H2H/gunfight in the one flashback was pretty sweet as well.

So Rory just had one hell of a feat.

And it put him off the show for a bit.

If he had to get written out, that's one hell of a way to do it.

1. Talia Al Ghul? Really? They're not even pretending anymore that it's not a thinly veiled Batman show. I love me some Lexa Doig, but still.
2. I like the new Canary.
3. Some John Wick-esque gunplay in that flashback. Nicely done too.

This episode reminded me that I kinda missed seeing China White from the 1st season; wasn't she also the one who played Lady Deathstrike in X2?

Dunno, but he's still been growing on me. Actually kinda like him better than Prometheus now; he's just more of a fun loose cannon.

I'm quite curious myself. I have seen some speculation about it maybe being Dorian Chase, and that they might do some kind of twin thing with the characters. But we won't really know until it happens.
