Well, for the first time since the N64 I have a system preordered before release. Today I reserved my PS4 console.

Unlike a lot of people I don't think MS is the devil and don't think Sony is angelic, I think Sony just made smarter business decisions with this whole thing, and that coupled with the fact that the PS4 has better hardware while simultaneously being less expensive pushed me over to them. This is after doing most of my gaming on my Xbox 360 this generation.

Kind of unfortunate that I won't be playing the new Killer Instinct anytime soon, but oh well. I just can't justify an extra $100 in order to play that game right now. Maybe in a few years when MS slashes the price of the console I'll pick one up like I did this gen with the PS3. But right now, PS4 just had too many advantages.

I'm going to purchase only Sony products for the rest of my life. I'm going to sell my Samsung TV and my Toshiba Bluray player, as well as only seeing movies made by Sony pictures.

I'm glad I pre-ordered when I did, though. As now PS4 is completely sold out at Amazon and Gamestop.

Even the "dead on arrival" Xbox One is completely sold out on Amazon, and also Bestbuy.

I pre-ordered an XBOX One. Looking forward to paying Forza 5.

And I will eventually buy both console so the price isn't really a big deal for me.

Forza is one of the franchises I'll miss. Always enjoyed those games. And the new one looks good.

It makes some sense, they killed some awesome features with the shitty features.

But they could have just have the awesome features, and some reasonable DRM ideas. But they didn't. So it's once again a choice between turd sandwich and giant douchebag.

In my opinion, there's objectively little to no reason to buy a One over a PS4.

What happen if you don't like Killzone and Infamous but like Dead Rising and Forza?

Should you buy a PS4 just because its $100 bucks cheaper even though you really want to play Forza and Dead Rising?

Neither of those games appeal to me. And KI looks like it'll suck as well.

It's being made by Double Helix, who made Silent Hill: Homecoming, and Battleship: The Movie: The Game.

What's being made by Double Helix?

And what does that have to do with anything?

The KI game. Also, Double Helix has NEVER made a fighting game before.

Neither of those games are known for their quality. Goddamn, you're thick. Seriously, it would have taken you 5 minutes of research to figure out that Double Helix hasn't made any good games.

So basically,

KI might suck, who knows but XBOX One has more than just one game in it's launch.
