Yes, there is.Games.
What happen if you don't like Killzone and Infamous but like Dead Rising and Forza?
Should you buy a PS4 just because its $100 bucks cheaper even though you really want to play Forza and Dead Rising?
There's a reason we buy a PS4.
Games. Also it doesn't have a crappy motion device being shoved down our throats.
I've never been much of a racing fan so I don't care about your Forza. Dead Rising is a necessary sacrifice.
I thought that was kinda disrespectful to boo like that, but then again this was the fighting game community, a community well known as a cesspool of immature dipshits.
I think the new KI looks pretty fun. If I were getting an Xbox One I'd be getting that game in a second. And it'll probably be the first game I get in a year or two when I do grab an Xbox One.

Neither of those games appeal to me. And KI looks like it'll suck as well.
I miss the old Rare... which again, M$ can phuck off for partly ruining. At least they didn't get their hands on Donkey Kong like they thought at first. lol

Exactly. If you like PS4 games, buy a PS4. If you like XBOX One games buy a XBOX One.
Stop taking things so personal. Why do you care if people buy a XBOX One?
So
Forza Motorsport 5 Requires One-Time Internet Connection

I commend the idea of the developer supporting the game for free, even if it is for a while, this is good day-1 DLC
but pushing a incomplete game out the door just to make launch date is, by principle, wrong.
Drivatars sounds awesome, though.

they booed the fact is an Xbone exclusive, and not at Double Helix itself. At first i thought they were going to boo at DH or Mad Catz, which happily they didn't or at least it sounded that way to me.
I don't have much faith in DH, but the game isn't finished yet so we'll see, so far it looking exactly like SFIV is off-putting (even the font is eerily similar to the hand-painted japanese-inspired font used in SF IV)

When did I ever say I cared what you buy? If you want to get an Xbox One then that's your choice just as wanting to get a PS4 is my choice.

That doesn't always matter. You have to look at the circumstances with those other projects. Most of their other games have been movie tie-ins or some such crap, where they have a hard deadline and not a lot of time to make the game decent because of those deadlines.
Hell, SF4's main producer made pretty much crap-all before SF4, and that game was a huge success. Previous accomplishments don't always matter.
Also, Double Helix seem to be genuinely excited about making this game. Not that phony type of excitement that you get with some developers. They seem to really like the series and have a big desire to really make this game true to it.
Honestly the game is getting an unfair level of criticism simply because it's an Xbox One exclusive. It doesn't even look like SF4 at all. It looks like KI. Big flashy combos and combo breakers. The art design also doesn't look like SF, if anything it looks somewhat similar to Mortal Kombat in that respect.

It's strange to see the repercussions of MS decision to reverse their online connected stance. This wouldn't be issue if XBOX One required an Internet connection. It will be interesting to see what other games have to release patches because of the decision.
Regarding KI exclusivity, what do people expect, the IP is owned by MS. Why would they release the game on the PS4? It's like Sony releasing Killzone on the XBOX One.
I never cared about people buying the PS4, I only commented when somebody says, "there is no reason to buy an XBOX One", and I said there is, games. If you love Forza, you more likely to buy XBOX One than the PS4,
They are not releasing a patch for the game to work online, they are releasing the rest of the game that they won't be able to pack on the disc being how M$ wants the game out by launch, and they have around 5 months to work on the rest of the content.
because games have to be submitted to Microsoft testing, certified, and then pressed onto discs and shipped, Forza 5 has to be done much, much sooner than November. By requiring part of the game as a download on launch day, it gives Turn 10 extra time to finish everything. And so what you get on the disc you buy at the store won’t be the entire game. You’ll need to download the rest of it from Xbox Live (which should be possible to occur as you play, Greenawalt clarified).
I think it's pretty clear the disc will be unplayable without that extra content, or so it seems to imply. though it remains to be seen as it doesn't say how much of said content has to be downloaded before playing (as it will be with all other digital tittles), if any.
The guy that posted this news over @ destructoid asked what will happen once the servers go down in a few years and you're left with an unplayable disc.
People hating on the Bone and the reasons for doing so are pretty well known, that's why the video says Xbone booed, and not KI. They're not expecting for it to go multiplatform, they just don't like the new xbox, simple as that.
VG Addict was stating his opinion, not fact. He just falling for your bait its his fault, though.

And the criticism of KI3 being a One exclusive is justified, considering all the time MS had Rare during the 360's lifespan and used to have a field-day teasing fans with rumors about a new KI which never happened for years. And after 15+ years of waiting, this is how they repay us, by having KI only on a new system that you have to pay $500 for and not a previous system that they're still claiming to support? Try and justify that and I'll just ignore it/flat-out not listen to you.

Calm down. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just interested to see how developers cope with the console being offline.
Forza 5 driveatars comes from the cloud and updates the game regularly with changes to the AI. Because XBOX One was meant to be online every 24 hours, it's not a problem. But because XBOX One doesn't require an online check anymore, Turn 10 had to scramble to fix the issue.
