Then they fail as a company. GameCube didn't sell that many units.
I want good games on my consoles, and the GC did amass a decent library although admittedly the GC collected dust for a while
Besides the PS2 was a ****ing juggernaut in that generation.
*Gasp!*
Really?
Damn! How did you even reach that decision? Well the N64 was quite awesome. I owned both N64 and PSX, but the JRPGs and Capcom's domination of the market made me buy a PS2 first. Then I bought a GC because of this little demonstration that rocked my jimmers:
Then the Wind Waker ordeal happened and I got pissed and whinned until I played the damned game and got owned.
I still love Nintendo, and the Wii U honestly looks great so far for me. Played the hell out of mine so far, just waiting for this fall's STORM of releases to hunker back down with it and not come out for a solid year.
Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, NSMW3D, WWHD with improved difficulty (or so the rumours say!) Smash4, Donkey Kong, can't wait for the new Zelda to be announced. The rumours for that have me ****in' moist.

New Super Mario World 3D.
The new Donkey Kong Country looks like a trip back to DKC's platforming roots, I don't know much about it atm because I'm trying to keep up with all the other games coming out this year, lol. Nintendo just kinda said '**** it' and are producing so many games it's irrational.
New pokemon, new Pikmin, new Zelda, wonderful 101, new mario, new other mario, new Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U, HD Zelda update with new features, Game & Wario, new Animal Crossing where you're the mayor, Super Luigi Bros (update to NSMBU via eShop)
That's just their in house stuff. 😐 Third party shit includes whatever this is:

Apparently they really like the walking animation they made, lel, but it still looks really awesome so far.
Rayman Legends, Bayonetta 2 (ew, but exclusive so hey) Lego Batman, etc, etc.
Frankly their release schedule is going to kill me simply because I won't be able to afford as many of the games as I want. mmm

Today’s financial results reveal Wii U sales below even the most pessimistic expectations. But should we be worried about Nintendo?

Xbox One No Longer Requires Kinect to Function
In addition to reversing its used game DRM policies for Xbox One, Microsoft has revealed that the console will no longer require Kinect to function. In our latest Ask Microsoft Anything, Xbox Corporate Vice President Marc Whitten revealed that Xbox One owners will be able to use all of the console's core functions regardless of whether the new Kinect sensor is connected. Naturally, many of the tentpole features of the new Kinect, such as player identification, voice commands, etc., will be disabled as a result, but players will still be able to play games and access entertainment content. The news represents yet another significant revision to the company's next-gen strategy. Shortly after E3 in June, Microsoft announced that it had revised its plans to restrict used games and require a constant online connection in order for the Xbox One to function following backlash from the fan community. What remained unclear, however, was whether owners would still be obligated to have the Kinect sensor connected and, perhaps more importantly, what would happen if the peripheral became damaged or ceased to function.
Most importantly, Microsoft's decision to abandon mandatory Kinect connectivity opens the doors for a cheaper, Kinect-free version of the system.
