Thor: The Dark World

I also have a question, when they approached the Dark World, we saw Padme's eyes turned similar to the Dark Elves. What does that mean? Her mind got possessed by the Aether? But her reaction was still Padme in the later scenes.

get rid of Foster. Put Sif in the fkn spotlight. God damn it.

I agree, Padme is quite useless other than make a few jokes.

Yeah. Plus if Sif got more exposure the warrior's 3 would as well. Not to mention Jaimie Alexander > Portman in looks.

But why was Padme's eyes turned similar to the Dark Elves but didn't seem to have any other changes?

Portman > Jamie Alexander, anyday!

And Forster & Co are, along with Loki, the best things in any Thor movie. Sadly, Thor, as the central character, was far more entertaining in the first film.

Loki makes the movie all right.

I could care less about Padme's gang.

I think other than Loki, Kurse is the best part of the movie.

Kurse was nice. Really liked his fight with Thor.

If only we could've seen Thor and Hulk fight someplace other than the helicarrier.

By the way...

Does anyone like Kat Denning's character in these movies? I kind of wanted to throttle the woman form the very moment I heard her voice. It only got worse after that.

I just dislike she and that intern's scenes during the final battle, it's kinda stupid.

I'm just giving my comments, the first 2/3 was awesome and the final 1/3 is bad.

Why are your standards so low? You probably stand in line for the midnight purchase of Call of Duty every year.

I didn't really notice a middle. There was the beginning, with exposition, then more beginning and recapped exposition (which just wasted time, in my opinion). There was the first attack, then...naked german? Then the final battle. 😬

Also, I see some people calling the gem in Loki's scepter instead of the Tesseract as a gem. The gem was a piece of the Tesseract, that I recall, so it still puts it as one of the gems.

Meh. It was alright. As expected Tom Hiddleston stole the movie. Otherwise I wasn't all that impressed. The humor sucked (except for Loki) and the final battle was god awful. But otherwise it was decent, not as good as the first film though.

So judgemental. The film exceeded all expectations.

Coming from a guy who didn't like SHIELD because it didn't have enough "brown people", your review doesn't matter personally.
The hate applied to Kat Denning's character is utterly unwarranted.
Her character was hot and funny.

The trailer sucked but the film was an awesome mixture of a Shakespearian play mixed with Sci-Fi and Marvel mythology.

Honestly, those amongst you who disliked this must've sat there and tried your best to nitpick any flaws you could muster.

I guess this is the bottom of the internet but damn...the film was awesome. The beauty of Thor II was it doesn't take itself seriously and it appears some of your views are so judgemental that you missed the point all together.

The sheer butthurt here is delicious. I'm obviously not alone in my sentiments within this very thread, so cry moar because not everyone has the same non-existent standards for entertainment as you.

The fact that you perceive my standards for entertainment as "non-existent" is hilarious considering how many people loved the film.

And the fact that you mention butthurt and delicious in the same sentence quite frankly means that your critique in films tastes like shit.

Love how your your sig sceams "Get your asses over here!" as well. Hungry much?

More action. A hell of a lot of genuine funny stuff. Less time spent on Portman and friends. A lot. And I mean a HELL of a lot of Asgard and the 9 words.

Very solid. Hope it gets near to or evens with Iron man 3 because it is a lot better.

Loki stole the show as usual.
