A wise policy. They're a nest of spoilers that can be pieced together easily enough.

And almost always raise expectations beyond what the film actually is.

The best example I can give is Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer.

In the teaser trailer we see this awesome action sequence where the Torch is chasing the Surfer and the Surfer is phasing through stuff looking awesome, and I was thinking, "Wow this movie will be something else."

As we all know that was the best scene in the film was was a terrible film.

Of course Thor won't be anything like that, but it's just so much more enjoyable without big spoiler scenes.

This definitely sounds interesting. Too bad there aren't any condoms in Asgard. 😛

I also heard that

Spoiler:
the Dark Elves ruled the Universe before the Big Bang but were defeated by Asgard and are now seeking revenge.

So...a half God half goat baby

^ Scythe will be onto that.

Well, it is a world where Shakespearean actors can summon lightning, defy the laws of physics, etc.

Oh God... i can't wait to see this movie... 😄

This movie may have footage of old home movies if my childhood.

Omg omg lol saw more of the new previews and it looks okay.

Bring on tomorrow.

Looks so much better than crappy Man of Steel.

One review I just read isn't optimistic.
Says movie felt rushed in production, Thor seems to be missing from vital scenes & Loki gets more screen time than most other characters.

Personally i enjoyed it and i also didn't watch any of the various clips that have been put on the net for promoting it

at least an 8.5/10

A 6/10 from me. If I was to review the second half of the movie alone it would be an 8, but sadly it only picks up at the halfway mark, the first half being sadly underwhelming and sloppy.

A few positives were Hemsworth upping his game and feeling more like Thor than he has in any of the other films. Loki is enjoyable as always and has an important role in the movie, but not to it's detriment in any way, being used exactly as much as he needs to. Kurse is menacing as **** and while his backstory changes the adaption of him to cinema worked well.

As for negatives, we have Anthony Hopkins not even trying as Odin, almost every one of his scenes cringeworthy. Malekith is as generic a villain as they come, even Eccleston failing to work with his poorly-defined agenda and lack of any character development.

Overall, give it a watch in the cinema for the action, a few good laughs and further see the development of the marvel cinematic universe. Or don't, it's hardly a must see.

Martian, you are a MMH fan, you obviously have a horrible opinion.

It's usually the best movies that builds it all up for the first half then has an awesome second half.

Heck even Avengers was slowish for the first half.

Avengers had a decent amount of action the first half.

Avengers had action within the first 10 minutes.

But what do you expect from the greatest superhero movie ever made, right Quan?

Haters gonna hate. It's lonely at the top.

Wtf? How did you take my post as being an Avengers hate one?. I specifically said some of the BEST movies are like that.

But I guess Trolls are just gna Troll.

Darth, stop provoking Quan or I'll have to warn you.
