Groot gave him a fight until they hit the ground. No one was able to do anything note Worthing to Namor at all. Hell, Namor was put in a worst predicament and was sucker shot in the back of the head by Thor (with a charged hammer) and still turned the tide. He was then sucker shot by Rulk, Thing, etc and turned the tide. If the hero's kept pounding on Thanos, he was done for and you have nothing to suggest otherwise. Namor tanked and reversed everything that came his way "except a plot" that aided in taking out the full PF.

The heros gave him breathing room after seeing him puke up blood. What happened to Thanos, happened to Namor but the difference is, Namor didn't get the breathing room Thanos got. He lost teeth, gushing blood and the hero's was sympathetic. I would love for you to show me an instance where Thanos could've change the tide.

The only difference in my scan vs yours is we don't see Thor included in punching Thanos, they replaced him with Hulk. The other difference is, while these attacks were going on, Namor countered it "during mid attack" and broke Rulk arm whereas Thanos couldn't even stand and was gushing strawberry maple syrup out of his mouth. The heros kept attacking Namor and still got dominated whereas Thanos knees met the dirt "yet again".
I never said Namor was the best TP on the planet, but what I am saying is that Namor would tap that a**.
