Man of Steel (2013)

Think it was in this thread that someone posted an article as to why a justice league movie would be extremely difficult to pull off. All the marvel movies so far have the same feel to them and were created as forerunners to an avengers movie anyway (except for hulk). Difficult to make the Batman trilogy mix with Green Lantern or MoS as it appears to be taking shape. The only other that would benefit from a stand alone would be the flash. In fact if I was want a justice league movie it'd probably just be flash, lantern and superman. Maybe wonder woman so long as they got Kate Beckinsale to play her so I could cover my lap and crack one out in the cinema.

they'd be using a rebooted batman in a justice league movie. possibly a rebooted green lantern too.

The feeling I get is that this Superman movie would be the Iron Man in a world-building movie. It will set the tone and start things off.

DC Warner Bros. is too busy deepthroating Superman and Batman to care about their other characters. Yoou can't expect the mainstream to care about your characters if you don't.

To be fair, WB has been the main stumbling block for DC, as they're the ones with the power over making DC movies, so in a sense it's two companies trying to figure something out.

Marvel is more streamlined, and as a result, better in that department.

If they keep making them as shit as Green Lantern it's not anyone else's fault the other characters fail to make a dent. Lantern is supposed to only be limited by his imagination but it seems they were more limited by the writers and directors imaginations.

It would also take a very good script to make The Flash a good movie. Something I'd like to see but, as is usual with me, I fear it'd be shite without a visionary director.
