I don't think you're getting my point.
Plausibility is a secondary concern if you can't draw the reader in. And unless you have some human appeal and real emotion you'll never draw the reader in.
Do you have any characters yet? Starting a plot with just an idea and hoping that a story will grow around it is pretty reckless.
