didnt tony say "we have hulk" as their ultimate weapon? he didn't mention thor

they gave him major love. He's still not the most powerful. The strongest no doubt though.

Didn't Thor bring down 3 of the serpents? Didn't Loki only shudder when Thor's name was mentioned?

Tony loved Banner anyway.

He mentioned Thor at the beginning of his "headcount" speech. Thor did the most damage to the Chitauri forces on screen.

Cap's tactics support this as well.

Given that Thor actually has better power feats in the movies, why do you believe that the Hulk was intended to be the most powerful?
tony said as much in the avengers movie, he implied hulk was their ace up their sleeve

Hulk is more powerful than Thor. Look at the Loki fight.

And Cap, whom Tony deferred to for leadership and tactics, decided that Thor was the best one suited for taking on the invading forces directly from their portal.

thor is the best for AOE attacks, I give him that

if you played RPGs, AOE attack characters dont do well against bosses, they do well against hordes of minions

Hulk is a High DPS character, and is the boss killer

so depending on how you define power, i guess either could be considered more powerful

Look at how many Chitauri forces they took down respectively. 😬

Strength =/= Power. Take off your gamma goggles for once.

Thor, in RPG terms, would be a Tankmage. Powerful up close and capable of nuking from afar.

And he also has high DPS in the form of sustained lightning bolts.

Hulk is the tank, not dps.

Thor is more DPS than Hulk is.

Thor not wanting to kill his brother isn't the same thing.

Hulk is indeed more powerful, thor is just more versatile but hulk IS more powerful.

Thor is boring imo, hulk is far more interesting character.

Jesus the idiocy is strong in this thread tonight.

Cosmic Cube for the BFR, we can all go home now.

Feats >>>>>>>>> Tony's opinion.

lol

You can't even be bothered to watch the movies, let alone read comics in depth - hence your rampant misinformation and ignorance as many have pointed out - so kindly gtfo.

And in general.

.......what?

This isn't a video game sir.

I define power on how they use power. And Thor used it better and displayed more of it.

No, he's not.

If you define strength and power as being the same thing instead of strength being a part of power as a whole, you'd be right. That's not the case.

lol ok

Yes, Thor having better power feats is a sure sign that the Hulk is more powerful.

🙄

lol says the guy who comes into a thread where feats are being used and compared against one another, forms an opinion based off of his own personal pre-conceptions, and then states "well, maybe I'm mixed up."

Who said I didn't enjoy both movies? I did, Hulk punching Thor for comedic effect and all. I also was able to comprehend what I saw and the intent behind it.

Like virtually every Thor/Hulk encounter ever, Thor fighting down to Hulk's level puts up a good fight but is ultimately fighting an uphill battle. Independently speaking feat wise, Thor displays greater power.

How can you think Thor is boring?

You think powerful = interesting, and there's few heralds more powerful than Thor.
