Just had a quick look at the Jotunheim scene and it's a lightning strike not a ground smash. Thor called down lightning on the rainbow bridge aswell but it did no damage. Thing is Loki was hit by Thor's lightning but it didn't ko him and he got up soon after. Hulk was significantly more durable than Loki.

It was him calling down lightning and hitting the ground at the same time.

No, Thor hit Loki with lightning while on the bridge...the ground pound was Thor adding lightning to a hammer strike.

and you know for a fact that a normal lightning strike wouldnt do the same?

Lightning strikes have between .5 to 5 gigajoules, Just re-watched the Iron-man movie and the arc reactor he built in the cave was stated to generate 3 gigajoules per second and it used up half it's energy just flying across a city.

His second allowed him to fly to the middle east and back with no drain on the power and IIRC Tony upgraded it again in Iron-man 2, yet Thor was able to charge it up to 475% with a short burst of lightning.

But please, contiune to argue that .5 to 5 gigajoules would be enough to power the arc reactor to 475%
