The lower quality webcomic version, yes. On Batoto.

I bought the two Viz volumes on a whim and gave them a read. I don't know if it will become a new favorite of mine but I like the art and the story is fun.

I'll definitely continue reading. The hype turned out to be the real thing and I can easily catch up on it. I do wish Mosquito Girl didn't die, though. I have a thing for monster girls! 😉

On a different note, the first part of the anime is out. It was fantastic.

Yea, Mosquito Girl's one of the cooler of the early monsters.

Watched them a while ago and they do indeed deliver the hype. The colors for the Mysterious Beings were cool and the action really struck hard. I haven't read any of Murata's previous mangas but I can see why he is well liked.

One Punch is the best Anime out right now imo.

And in a new chapter of the manga, we finally get some power levels!

Only none showed up for that bald hero. It only hands 1 through 9999, it must not have registered because he was too weak 😉

Does anyone know how many episodes is coming out for this cartoon?

Q99: I guess so.

Carver: there's supposed to be 12 episodes for the anime plus an OVA, from what I hear.

Random side note: reread the spar between Saitama and Genos in the redrawn version and couldn't help but wonder something. Remember how Genos turned around to see Saitama's fist pretty much about to kill him? You think that's maybe what all of the monsters see just in the final instant of their lives before they die? That maybe for just that instant alone, they're able to just barely perceive Saitama's real might?

In some cases, yes, but most of the time I think it's just too fast 🙂

Asura Rhino sensed it, but then concluded it was a bluff.

I just bought the 1st volume and boy am I entertained. This is genuinely funny. But boy do I have a lot to catch up on. It appears I'm quite a few volumes behind.

Should I hold out to watch the anime and finish reading?

Q99: maybe so. As for Asura Rhino, to be fair, he did get pretty pissed, so his words of thinking Saitama was bluffing was really just BS.
