It's funny that these new stipulations come after 40+ pages of debating...

He may be the thread starter but its too late in the game for that. It's a rule of these threads that you can put combatants anywhere you want, and to establish rules early. And its also just slightly convenient that he happens to be arguing FOR the DE's. And just to clarify, is this because Electronics dont work in hogwarts? That doesnt apply here, because its never stated in the movies that thats the case. The whole Rita Skeeter side story that even brought that fact up in the books was again left out by some brilliant *cough* directing.

Well i hate the movies. With a passion. Horrible direction. Obvious forced comedy that wasn't even in the books which had plenty of its own. And the blatant ignorance of some of the best moments in the books in lou of horrible little side moments, that ended up being pointless. For god sake theres a whole scene devoted to an almost comical side story in the battle of neville somehow knowing he has to get up and sice through the air at the exact moment harry and voldy are battling. And that somehow Voldys horcruxes caused a priori incantatem effect. Not the fact that the wand he had belonged to harry. Nope the snake was causing the wands to arc, that makes perfect sense. But i digress. If you wasted your own time and read this then i thank you for choosing chos for you time killing needs. Join me next time when i tell you why i hated the star wars prequels.

Yea thats the funny thing. We debate for like I said 40+ pages and when he feels like he's losing it now a new rule. I had assumed it was to allow muggles access to Hogwarts. until you mentioned it I had not known about the electronics rule. Probably because as you said its not in the movies.

So basically everyone agrees Avengers win?

Well if it was the muggle thin then as i said a while back in the thread the only one who might be able to even go there is thot. Just because of the magical grey area issue. But regardless, everyone else is a muggle. What made iron man unable to go there?

Them being able to see Hogwarts was just assumed, otherwise what was the point in having them in the thread....although based on the thread starters actions, he appears to want the DE's to win and will continue to change the rules until he gets the answer he wants.

I havent said one way or the other lol. So far its been repeat arguments that amount to nothing. Just the same thing 3 pages later when someone didnt go back to see if the issue was discussed or not.

lol I can be very anal about changes from source. I mean some changes are ok as long as its an understandable change. Though I feel to read the HP novels I would come to grossly hate the movies. I think they are all a "fun wizarding" experience as is because I have nothing to compare it to. Someone once told me "never read a book before you see the movie. Otherwise you will be wasting your money on a ticket for a movie you probably wont enjoy".

I never read the books so I liked the movies.

Ahahahahaa, fail. Hawkeye MAYBE takes down a Death Eater before becoming a crispy critter.

The Snape.

Nah, technology doesn't work around Hogwarts. If you knew the HP movies you'd know this.

LoL. Widow is just as fast as shooting her gun, if not faster, so.

Scene where he did this "mind raping", especially in battle, cos you're likely stroking powers again. Just like your "apparating wizards pwns all!" claims.

Reading comprehension fail? I cleverly said I'm aware of the tech clause; if you're bringing it in now though and thereby the "muggles can't see angle", there's no fight. It'd make no sense and as noted, you're not the thread starter, it's not your call.

To each his own i say. I just express my opinions alot lol. I still am of the opinion that they werent very great movies even by non-book standards. At least 4-6 i can honeslty say were somewhat enjoyable imo. Just hard for me to get past the books.

Do you wanna hear the ironic part?(that was rhetorical)
If he knew the movies he'd know that the entire plot point of tech not working at Hogwarts was never actually in the movies....... they left out Rita's bug problem and therefore harry postulating wire taps and being shot down by hermione.

Indeed. In the OP it is pretty clear The Avengers can see and go into the castle otherwise there would be no fight. This would also include anything that prevents them from fighting in the castle would no longer be in place. But we have this 40 some pages later.....

So I'm supposed to stip Iron Man but not the Death Eaters?

so its most likely to do with the no electronics rule you brought up but like you said that wasn't even in the movies and even if it was according to the OP it would be active anyway.

Is 4 Order of the Phoenix?

Because, admittedly, I can't go back and watch the ones before that. I liked them when I was younger though.

Edit: I meant Goblet of Fire

5 is phoenix. I actually enjoy Half blood Prince the most, because it was pretty lacking in story even in the books so there wasnt much for me to get dissapointed at.

Spoiler:
Snape Kills Dumbledore was about the only thing they needed to get right

According to the rules the OP stops being god about 2 pages in. Impediment clearly states that you have to establish early on any parameters. As we have to go by movie feats and statements, the muggle thing isnt really mentioned much(if at all) and it was stated clearly, no apperation. Otherwise the OP could warp the argument to any advantage.

With no apperating/teleporting, what's to stop Hawkeye from just arrowing em at 3x their effective range?

Flick of the wrist shield spell. As demonstrated by one Delores Umbridge. She deflected an arrow funny enough. Point blank too.

Edit: OMG did i just take hawk outta the fight? Well i guess not if hes at a distance.
