League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vs The Watchmen

First and foremost, Dr. Manhattan is not in this fight. That would make it spite.

OK, so the LXG and the Watchmen square off in Times Square, to the death.

Team LXG:

Alan Quartermain (armed with a repeating rifle and two revolvers)
Tom Sawyer (same as Quartermain)
Dorian Grey
Mina Harker (in Vampire form)
Rodney Skinner
Captain Nemo (Armed with his sword)
Dr. Henry Jekyll / Edward Hyde (In Hyde form)

Team Watchmen (they have all their weapons from their movie, save Nite Owl's ship):

Ozymandias
Nite Owl
The Comedian
Rorschach
Silk Spectre II

As stated fight takes place in a vacant Times Square at midnight. Both teams have limited knowledge of each others powers. 30 seconds prep time.

What is The Comedian armed with, cos with his M79 grenade launcher, CAR-15, Franchi PA3, M60, MP5 and/or flamethrower, he could take out more than half the other team solo.

At first look I'd say Watchmen take this, but then I don't see how they can put down Dorian Gray and MIna Harker.

Quartermain drops down and starts sniping as soon as the match starts. Between him laying down fire, Mina and DOrian being immortal, and Hyde, this is an easy win for the League.

Comedian mows down the mortals and then the Watchmen lose to Nina, since they have no way to put her down unless Nite Owl's laser cutting her in half counts as a win.

Possibly, but with Nina, it's the League's fight to lose.

Can't see any of the league tagging Ozy, he's too fast. Mina is the only real fight for him here, and he showed to be much stronger/faster than she.

Plus we got Comedian chucking nades left and right, and NO with his laser pointer.

Dorian isn't real a pushover, iirc the guy deflected income bullets with his sword in the initial fight. With that said LXG for the win, I honestly don't see what the Watchmen is going to do to them.

Dorian was good with his little cane sword, he goes down after a decent fight, unless he faces of against Veidt or Blake.

Alan and Tom, are taken out easily by Veidt.

Hyde is a bit of a problem but easily dodgeable. Hard to take down as well, though they can wait for the potion to wear off. Blake could probably just tag him with his 1911 in the head. Or light his ass on fire.

Skinner will be hard to find, unless Dreiberg's goggles have an infa red feature. But just by the reflex and strength feats alone, unless skinner has a knife or a gun(which make him visible), hes not a threat.

Nemo showed a good amount of damage soak and he was very fast with that scimitar. I see him putting up a decent fight, again, unless he faces Blake or Veidt.

Mina being able to fly is the LXG's weapon of choice here. If they know enough about her and Veidt can get a clear opening with either Nemo's or Dorian's sword she goes down. If she flies around with her bats snatching the watchmen up she could potentially take them out. Im 50/50 on this one.

Comedian's flamethrower>>>>>Bats.

Dorian was amazing with his sword, and he seemed to be able to ignore pain, as well as any injuries healing in moments. There's nothing they can do to keep him down. He'll outlast everyone on that team.

And how is Veidt going to take them down. Throw his bullet riddled corpse at them? He caught one bullet from some random thug, but these guys are two trained marksman and there's no way he's dodging/catching multiple rifle rounds.

Incapacitation counts as a win.

How will he be incapacitated? Any injury heals in literally seconds, and he's fast enough to deflect machinegun fire with a sword. He can't even be knocked out from the looks of it, and completely ignores pain save minor annoyance. Mina stabbed him through the chest and into a wall, and he was more annoyed by the fact that he couldn't dislodge the blade than being stabbed.

Ozymandias breaks his neck, he's good as new a few seconds later.

How about tackling him and pinning him down? He didn'ypt seem to have higher than human strength anyway...
