That I've seen, these stood out the most:

Coriolanus (Drama)
Chronicle (Sci-Fi)
Goon (Comedy)
Cabin In The Woods (Horror-Comedy)
Avengers (Action)

I'm expecting The Hobbit (P1) to blow them all away.

Good choice. I haven't seen Goon but yeah the others you mentioned especially Avengers, Cabin & Corilanus left a lasting impact on my imagination.

I'm still in 2 minds about The Hobbit....another movie based on a journey...I think the theme's worn a bit thin after the previous 3.

Then don't go and see it then.

So you're cancelling our date?

Again? 🙁

Pretty sure Mindset was going with you.

But I always enjoy how you bury your face in my lap at the scary scenes...

Go look for some more plotholes in TDKRs troll.

This hipster...

I liked it before it came to theaters, though. Now it's a little too mainstream.

The Hobbit!

Such a long awaited film and can't wait to see it at Christmas when I go home!!

In the meantime i've been watching videos of interviews with the cast and this is the best!

It's on The Guardian Youtube Channel and its called

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - an exclusive interview with the cast

It's really good!

For me the best out of nowhere film was most definitely cabin in the woods. I went into that knowing nothing about it besides that Joss Whedon directed it. I really didnt wanna see it all that bad. Very surprising and intriguing at the same time.

the Hunger Games was pretty good too but don't think I'll consider it the best. Still have to watch the Dark Knight Rises.

Might want to do some research Whedon had nothing to do with directing it.

Avengers, Looper, and Cloud Atlas are my top three.

Btw, I also saw these movies:

* The Dark Knight Rises
* Skyfall
* Act of Valor
* Abrahman Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
* Prometheus
* The Hunger Games
* Ted

Skyfall and TDKR were both good, but I didn't feel the "wow" factor that I got after watching Casino Royale or Dark Knight/Inception. Act of Valor had phenomenal, realistic action. Vampire Hunter was ridiculous, but the action was entertaining.

Prometheus = entire film is a plot hole
Hunger Games = overrated
Ted = kinda funny

I want to see Argo, Lincoln, and Zero Dark Thirty!

EDIT: And the Hobbit. I can't wait to see it on Wednesday!

Argo was good.

Zero Dark Thirty has near perfect scores in RT and Metacritic; I hope it's as good as they say when I go watch it. I didn't find Hurt Locker that spectacular...

I get the feeling a lot of the reviews for Zero Dark is purely because of what its based on.
