If you've seen any of the Mission Impossible movies you shouldn't have any trouble with Cruise doing Reacher.

Reacher isn't the same kinda fighter as Ethan Hunt tho..

He mostly uses his overwhelming size and power to one shot most opponents. He very rarely needs to do the whole punch, counter punch, block, redirect, grapple, punch again style. Plus his size is supposed to be intimidating which Cruise is not. I dunno i'll just hafta watch the movie first

Almost every main character "wins" in the movies.

Well MVF does, and beyond that, surviving movies does talk about "winning".

Except the ones who die.
