There is one panel in which Exodus seems to tank Logan's claws, yet every other time Wolverine connected he drew blood. Just reminding people out there that failing once doesn't mean Wolverine can't cut Exodus/Colossus/WWH/TO Cable/etc. at all.

Adam can't afford a single distraction in a fight like this. As shown in the scans, Exodus can mind rape and fight at the same time. This would leave Adam completely open to Exodus, someone that mind rapes high level telepaths.
